SO how's this carb working. It looks like you've sold a few by now. I have a 76' Fj40. I am removing the smog EQ. Stock Dist. does this perform better that the stock carb? HP increase ammount ? Milage increase?

Yes you could say I've sold a few. out of a thousand I've had 18 with issues.

It is just as good as a new stock carb. So no it doesn't perform better than a stock carb. Just as well. No HP increase unless your old stock carb is dirty or in bad health. Then yes my new carb will increase your hp. Millage is the same as HP. Your not really going to get any better. Maybe a little better but not much over a correctly working new stock carb.

Amen to that , just installed THC's carb after removing a bad Rochester conversion - it's like a whole new truck to drive . Power is great , even with 33s accelerating up a hill is easy, hit that secondary and the old tractor motor really takes off !

Unbolt your other one and bolt this in it's place. Then remove and plug any smog stuff.

As far as the dizzy if it's an vac advanced electronic. I'd keep it. If it's a vac advanced points it's a tossup on the condition of your distributor.

I want to know if you still sell the carbs and dizzys. Do you have pics of the dizzy?

Carb is similar to what you have if yours is stock. Will bolt right up.

Hi. I live at 7000 and so does the Goose an '85 FJ60, desmogged.
Most of my driving will be at this altitude and higher.

The last carb you list, the one for $290 that accepts the throttle cable from '70-73, will it accept a later style air cleaner assembly that mounts with a stud?

Trollhole carbs are great. I have using it for some time, and Marshall is great at support. Had an issue last spring and he was good for it. I even bought a spare for backup, but sold it.
