Yeah sorry. Might check the classifieds. I hear there are a couple guys that changed motors that might be selling their carb.

Finally got around to putting my carb on today. Sounds stupid but I am having a problem with the carb hitting the port of the carb isolator. See pic. I tried to move the isolator around but couldn't find a spot where it wouldn't hit the carb somewhere. I tried to bend the metal vent piece to clear the carb in the original place but the isolator broke...doh! Old age and too much force. What has everyone else done to solve the clearance issue. I guess I have to order a new new/used one from Spector now. Was looking forward to driving the truck today.
Caz, so where is the throttle cable stop supposed to slip into? I have the little barrel barb on the end of my throttle cable and can't figure out where it is supposed to sit inside to actuate the throttle, a little different setup than the stock carb I am pulling off.. Sorry for the rookie questions. The carb on my truck has been switched out a couple times by the PO so not sure what is stock and what isn't. Saw Trollholes picture of his throttle cable setup earlier in one of the posts but it looks like I would need to cut off that little barrel end to attach the throttle cable the same way he pictured.
