not saying the shims arnt needed but if the Dakar springs are built like the old OME stuff they "should" not be needed, I don' run them in my 40 or 60 with OME and there is ZERO wander, it drives just like before.

Did you get castor correction shims? If not, that's probobly why it's pulling.

It looks like he's got 12.5s on the new lift. I've noticed much more wander on 33x12.5 bfg m/ts vs 33x9.5bfgmt/31x10.5bfgat/33x10.5bfgats that have all been on the truck since my OME lift. The skinnier tires have nearly non-existant wandering.

Nice info. My next set is gonna be 33x9.5. Currently 31x10.5.

with a lift I would go 33x10.5, which is what I have with OME and NO wander...........none.........zero, zip, nada.............;)

I have only driven on pavement, but the ride is drastically improved and I can only described it as "spongy". ...

Hmmm, you have a Chebbie 350 right ? Whats the weight difference between the Chebbie 350 and a Yoda 2F ?

Looks very level (front/back) compared to my OME's when first installed. Front was way low and back real high, like ~3.5" difference. Was 20.5" front hub center/lip and 24" rear hub center/lip. OME sez, "use'em". I did. Better now. Most improved after oil change. Hanging in air on lift did wonders. Front *lifted* and rear sank, with use, go figure. Still got a 0.5" lean. OME sez, "leave it alone ..."

...I was told about these Dakar springs about 6 weeks or so ago. It was very hush, hush. The story is this. OME is made in Oz. Dakar is made in malayasia.....

Interesting, your info is a little different then mine... ;)

:D

Dakars will be a great spring... ;)

MAF has priced the Dakkar spring kit for the 60 series @ 1340.00. Not too bad, but MAF has been known to be on the higher end of the price bracket.
