Thanks for the warm welcome.

My Land Cruiser means a lot to me as it was the last vehicle my father owned before he passed in 2012. He and my mother bought it new in 1995 from Bell Road Toyota. I still have the receipt and the original sticker. It had every option minus the E lockers. Typical Arizona gold package and pinstripes that were popular in the mid 90's. He always wanted an LC and thought highly of the build quality. We talked a bit about turning it into an expedition rig which he never had a chance to do. I decided to continue with his plan and I got carried away. I was inspired by several mud members and found some of the best information and knowledge on this forum. There's a few builds here that drew my attention one being Jcardona1 from CA. Once I joined the forum I received help and lots of input from several great guys on the forum like LandCruiserPhil and NLXTACY.

Another build I liked was BoxRocket. There are so many builds that inspired me and gave me ideas I can't cover them all. I owe a thanks to many members for the time they took to answer my questions and provide technical advice as well as share their experiences on their builds with me. Thanks to all for that.

My cruiser has been out to California to get an AOE Front bumper with Warn winch and a 4x4 Labs rear bumper. I then made my way out to Mukilteo (SEA) to visit Adam from TORFAB to do some suspension and ARB lockers and some other stuff. And finally I just drove the cruiser back from VA where I had an LS3 swap performed. As to why all the traveling out of state to get this work done.....I guess I like to drive and tried to find the best products and customer support I could. Some of it paid off and some of it didn't.

As for me I have been in AZ since 1972.
I ride dirt bikes, adventure bikes, side by sides and enjoy basically anything with a motor and wheels. I like turbos and anything that goes fast. I am really getting into camping and expedition travel. I have an M1101 military trailer that I have been building with a roof top tent. Another project that seems to never get near completion.
