I just got delivery of one of THE cleanest fj60's I have ever seen!
Siketi came to me from Texas, owner Mike Haley has sent me this beauty to throw my touch on it in the form of a new rear bumper and some new sliders. In the past I really have'nt had the chance to do a build thread, cause I really did'nt know that much about MUD and the awesome sh*tload of dedicated cruiser owners ! So here it goes.:D
I will post the pics and process for all to see, starting with a few pics of Siketi's arrival this morning !
I have another bumper and sliders to build before I get too involved with Siketi, but they are running back to back so it should'nt be too long for updates.
Hey Mike I may have to help you after the build on this suspension ! Dude we need some more flex !!
my boy loves cruisers.webp

rondog, that is definitely a gorgeous rig, and I can't wait to watch this install, but you need to get a star!!!

Get that star da*@it !!

Yeah thats the one thing on the list before it all starts !All my money has been tied up trying to keep this together.:frown: It's been a tough year in the fabb'in business, but things seem like they might be coming around.:)

Glad she got there Rondog

Mike Costello called yesterday, and said the rig had been delivered. I had loaded in on a trailer and hauled it over to San Antonio to meet him, so he could get it the rest of the way to Phoenix. Here is a picture of it on the uhaul. Hopefully it got there in good condition.

The suspension is from CCOT up in Dallas. The truck probably hasn't been driven 200 miles since the install.

I will look forward to the build........

hood ornament

Yeah I was hoping you did'nt mind, but he is all boy and loves cruisers already (gotta raise him right!) He saw me go out and take delivery of it and was exctatic - jumping around yelling "tuck, tuck, tuck" - (truck in his terms) he does'nt quite know cruiser yet, but he can't stay away from mine and it's not even running!

By the way the hood ornament is really cute.

Mike

Hey I never thought of that... Siketi -Sixty.. Kind of close. Actually a name of a geographic area on Prince of Wales Island here, and also my Charter business, but I do get a kick out of people looking and trying to figure out what the letters SIKETI are trying to say.
