And this video includes Prado's being manufactured at Tahara as well. It's a "best of" from Yoshiwara and Tahara.
The LX550 will be manufactured at Tahara as well the LC250 so the videos of assembly will be from that factory.
Written, produced and edited by Toyota's marketing team so don't expect anything other than a sales pitch highlighting only that they want to highlight.

Actually, Toyota is very good with their factory footage. Always have been. It’s always geared for manufacturing and engineering nerds.
The marketing stuff is just that and if one has a brain between their ears will know what the call is.
Toyota really never abrogates their engineering and factory footage. It’s the most important thing that Toyota does.
Hyundai, BMW, Ford, etc. all have very good factory footage. I actually can’t think of one that isn’t but this looks to be something different from just footage for nerds.

Man these videos are well done. Makes me want the 550 more than ever…the amount of engineering and testing that went into this is probably mind boggling. Also hard to believe the vehicle didn’t change much from concept to production.

Yeah missing the details for sure. When I worked with Lexus this past summer I did find out the frame is essentially a 300 series frame slightly shorter wheel base. The one we worked with was a driving prototype. The fit and finish wasn't fantastic but you know Toyota will come through.

They made a rectangle screen so you can see how tilted you are off roading…lol.
I’m pumped for this vehicle but that was a stretch haha
Whether or not that was the intent, there is science behind it.
Also Toyota.
I think the point was that the dash is perfectly flat, not that the screen is rectangular. The design problem was getting the screen low enough that it was not breaking that horizontal line of the dash.
