Yeah, not sure I want to drop 100k on GM's first attempt at an offroad EV. Looks pretty cool, but certainly "out-bro's" the Bronco.
I'd rock it, if I had the money for it that is. It is the future. Hell loads of companies are making Tesla "small block" kits now. You can dump a tesla motor and trans in any car that has small block chevy engine mounts. Really quite ingenious since small block chevy swap engine mounts are made for most popular cars.
Nice I need to do some better searching on that subject; I would consider an electric crate motor if this one ever blew out; I think the challenge is it would need to meet economy of scale to be affordable, at least based on my limited reading
Instead of the order portal opening as scheduled yesterday it got pushed to mid January due to supply chain complications and delays related to Covid (not at all a surprise given Covid impacts on industries of all types globally).
So, it sounds like first deliveries now move from spring to summer 2021 at earliest. The Bronco Sport is apparently not impacted. Also, it appears buyers opting for the 7 speed manual tranny with the Sasquatch package will now wait until the 2022 model year.

Funny. Ford kept rounding off, lowering, and added size to the Explorer to where it was another unrecognizable blob....and now they have circled back around and basically made an updated 1st gen Explorer, in both size and shape.
Pretty much, Andrea said that it looked like a larger jeep compass of a 4 door fj cruiser.
Well its the boring model so not much is expected from that one.
Very disappointed on what ford has out right now. I hope the next release wont be a explorer like so much.
The two I've seen, I'm not impressed at all. They look like someone in corporate was disappointed they dropped the Flex and wanted it brought back.
Yeah the ones that are out is the sport, that is basically what they are. The actually broncos haven't sold yet.

The flex always made me think of someone at the dealer that could not make a decision. The basically were like there are too many choices, give me the Flex! ;<)
i think i live near a reviewer but saw a sport and mustang mach-e today. y'all are spot on with the sport, but the mustang looks cool as hell in person.
