I’ve never paid much attention to the standard arb towers. Here’s what they’re showing for the new rack.Saw that in development a while back, I am betting it just uses the standard 80 series ARB mounting towers. Looks great though would love to see it on a truck.
Hard to tell from the photos - I'm no ARB rack expert by any means but those towers do look slightly different...rack also looks mounted a little closer to the roof itself which is definitely promising.I’ve never paid much attention to the standard arb towers. Makes sense given the height of their other racks. Low profile flat racks seem to be the way of the future, glad ARB decided to finally jump in.Low-profile is the main motivation here for them.
I'm curious is these towers will work with the traditional ARB rack? Could be a nice combo.
Can't say I blame them(no love for 100)

I was just wondering the same thing, their website shows that both will fit on an 80 but what about the sun roof? I love the look of the base with the full rail around it, like an old school safari rack! What size is appropriate for the 80, 72" or 84"?
I've got the 84"X51" on order. IIRC, either the 72" or 84" will work just fine for the 80 series. I just figured I'd make the most use of all the real estate on top of the roof by going with the 84" long one. Very stoked to get this thing installed. It is pricey no doubt especially when adding some of the accessories, but it was love at first sight for me when I saw this rack. Very clean looking with simple lines while maintaining a low profile to be able to still pull the 80 into the garage when it's bedtime for the LCI was just wondering the same thing, their website shows that both will fit on an 80 but what about the sun roof? If I ever get another rack, that’s what I had in mind. Looking forward to seeing how that size looks.I've got the Base65 on order...it is 61"x51"...I wanted something from rear of the sunroof to the back of the vehicle. Should be here next week or the week after and I'll post some pics.
same way I would go. I love having access to using my sunroof. A lot of times it the way I get to that top of the roof. You bring up a good point regarding the claw clamp opening on the Thule Roof might not being wide enough to grip the cross bars. I have a Thule Box as well and this didn’t cross my mind. Will call ARB support on Monday to get exact dimensions.Looking at this rack as well but I don’t see any options for Thule roof box attachments or other thule accessories like ski racks. The bars look to be about 5” wide and the claw clamp on the roof boxes open to about 3.5”. Anybody come up with solutions for this on other racks where the bars are too wide?
Sweet, let me know how the install goes and I'd love to see pics of it installed!I've got the 84"X51" on order. IIRC, either the 72" or 84" will work just fine for the 80 series. Very clean looking with simple lines while maintaining a low profile to be able to still pull the 80 into the garage when it's bedtime for the LC. Plan to keep my 80 series for a long time so this was a buy once cry once justification for me. Shouldn't have any problems with opening the sunroof. Gonna try to go without the rails on mine to keep as low profile as possible since being able to still pull the LC into the garage is a high priority for me.
