Welcome Jetsman, Lots of info for that truck here, and lots of info in the diesel section for your 1HZ engine.

So you fly or work on Jets?

Welcome.

To enter your vehicle info in your signature you go to your User settings on the Left hand side at the top of the page. Choose edit signature and put in your vehicle and year.

Also good to put your location on there. It helps guys give you advice so they know what market your cruiser was sold in.

To learn about posting pictures there is a help section in the general forums and one of the stickied(posted at the top) threads is about posting pictures.

Welcome to mud and have fun.

You are in the right place. You could not get a more honest reliable truck than a 70 series ( especially a 75) Just awesome.

Once you have owned one I swear it must be really hard to go back to anything else.

Hi Dave,
Welcome to mud. I went to LK a few years ago for look around. Pretty nice city. I was very impressed with it. Petronas Towers are cool.

I have not seen a BJ72 before. It has similar headlights as a LJ series cruiser.

BrownBear

I think you will find that my toy is actually a LJ72 in designation.

BJ is the carry over from 40 series which I keep making the mistake of BJ rather than LJ. LJ72's are extremely popular here as they one of the few decent live axle front and rear coil sprung 4x4 vehicles around here.

The 75 is a grey import from Japan and had a 3B engine before someone mickeyd it and converted it very poorly from 24V to 12V and a 13B-T engine and a 4 speed gearbox.

Much hard earned cash has been spent restoring this 12 year old vehicle back to good condition as there is only 3 in west Malaysia and lots in East Malaysia.

What is the picture of the graphics on the side?

Saying hello from Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada.
1987 BJ70. I will be building it up for off road use and a little on road use. The body looks to far gone for a reasonable restore.

Hello!
I am Fred from England, UK. I am 23 years old, live and work on a farm here in Norfolk and drive a KZJ70 '93 model. I've owned it for the past 3 years but two of those I lived in Bangkok teaching English.
I want to make some minor changes to my Landcruiser, and am currently getting gps set up on board, using an HP ipaq pocket pc. So just want to say "How yer gettin' on?!" and what a great place this is for help and ideas.

Just a little cruisin with a friend, no hardcore offroading.

That looks cool. Post it up in Chat for all to see.

The BJ70 sure gets on some crazy angles.
