Hi everyone, I recently put 1.25 inch wheel spacers on my 76 FJ40 and am having trouble finding longer press fit lugs to hold onto the wheel spacers (the spacers have their own lugs which holds the wheel). I need press fit lugs that are longer that have the same 550 knurl diameter so that they can be pressed in. I have tried all the usual places like Autozone, PartsAmerica, Tire/Wheel stores, Etc. with little or no luck. All I need is an additional half inch of lug; however any length with the same knurl diameter will work (I can cut and tap the lug without a problem). Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Thanks,

~John

hey did you try sumit racing or paw or jc witney or any place that sell racing or speed parts.
they usually sell stuff like that not those sorry places that never have anything that you actually need. good luck!

I may be wrong about this, but I believe that FJ60s used longer lugs. I am curious about the need for new lugs. BTB sells 1.5" spacers that bolt to the factory studs.
BTB Wheel Spacers

Did you ever have any luck finding those longer wheel studs? I bought the 1.5 inch spacers from BTB and I definitely need another .500 to take full advantage of the spacer lung nut. Called BTB and they said they never have to put longer studs in with their spacers, who knows; maybe my baby is just short on studness. I punched one out and you’re on the money with the knurl size of .550, I checked the UHL (Under Head Length) and it's at 1.50. The knurl length is .360. I have another .375 of thread still showing in the spacer lug nut and another .300 from the top of the lug nut to the spacer where the tire will mount. So I am figuring a UHL of 2" would be perfect. The nearest diameter is a .554 from ARP. I could always freeze them and go for the install. What do you think? For $54 for a package of 5 is ridicules! I’m hoping you found some at a decent price. I am in Africa, so my options are very limited, but do have shipping privileges. Thanks for any help in advance.......Ken

Moroso 2" studs at Summit Racing, I just did this.

try any auto parts place that can get or carries DORMAN products and get part # 610-265 10 to a box M12-1.5 x 44.8mm wheel studs.
