Got the shifter boot (inner and outer boot) but can't find the boot for the TC shifter (i'm assuming just one boot). SOR has none (and they said the 40 boot wouldn't work) so any suggestions are appreciated....Cruiserparts.net?? Thanks, Dave

I'm pretty sure I've got one. In fact I have two one is new and one is on the 55. Let me take the one that's new home and make sure it fits the 55 and I'll sell you the used one. Which is in great shape.

Marshall, THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH....I'll pm my address if it works

Good question Pablo C.....SOR sez that the 40 rubber won't work on the 55 (They didn't have the transfer boot anyways) so I wondered if our resident experts thought different or modified to make something work.

I know a guy w/ a 40 (non Mud) who seems to think there is an inner and an outer boot for the transfer shifter but I have heard 2 boots for the tranny shifter and one boot for the transfer. Hope to learn from everyone on this...........Thank you, dave

** Wanted to edit and see if anyone has used or modified a universal style boot (both types) to their satisfaction. What are the dimensions...I've heard 3" in dia on the tranny but no idea on the transfer

Hey Dave before I sell one. Can answer a few questions.

You have a 69 fj55 correct?

Wouldn't it have had the t-case shifter that is mounted to the dash?

Can you post a picture of what you have?

What I have is the same thing that is in a 40 since I drove the 40 today and can compare.

Marshall,

I got a floor tranny from N2666s (Lou) to convert from the column shifter...don't have any pics at present but it should be a standard set up. Thanks, dave

This is what it looks like. Is this what you need? Sorry for being anal. I just want to make sure you get the right part. I've shipped a part to someone thinking I knew what they needed and it wasn't.
