Too far north. Too far east.
I replaced my rod ends recently on the 4Runner and used a pair of steel wheels I had to align the front end. Problem is they were not flat. I figure alloy wheels are less likely to be bent.

Anybody have a pair of naked wheels I could borrow for a day?

I have 4 unmounted 16" alloys from I think a 2001 Tacoma
So like 4.75" back space, if that would clear

I have unmounted 16 inch alloys from the 80 - no clue on the backspacing. They are the factory rims. Let me know if you want to borrow and I can run them by your place.

I think the 4.75" backspacing might be a bit much. I do have some spacers I could use, but not that much.

Evan, I think the 80 wheels will be closest. I can come by this weekend and get them.

Sounds good - I'll give you a call to figure out the details.

80 wheels have 4.5 inches backspace. They hit the TREs on my BJ74 without spacers.

I have some 15"ers with 3.75"BS. they are in the back of the garage behind the FJ45, but I could dig them out if you need them. they were on my stock FJ40 axles.

I'm good. Evan set me up. The 80 wheels cleared my hi-steer arms and ends, but did rub on the V6 calipers without the spacer.
