Need some advice before purchasing!!

You need to talk to the guys that have done these type of engine swaps and they can let you know if the price is close.

I do believe the front springs (at least the one in the photo) were installed backwards....... That's a lot of recent work on the truck, kind of hard to assess....

I would get a rough idea of what each component of the rebuild would cost, and add it all up. (nice stock truck + OME suspension + custom V8 and tranny swap + new tires + ...). I bet you could do it for MUCH less if you were willing to invest some sweat. All shop done, you might be approaching that.

Depends what you want to do with it too. A nice showroom quality truck is going to be a liability if you actually want to get off the beaten path, but would look real nice parked in your driveway (or at the mall).

For less than that much money you could get a good solid truck with original drivetrain, and outfit it with all the fun stuff (bumpers, rack, winch, rooftop tent, breast implants, yadda, yadda)

The swap can be expensive if professionally done. SBC 60s generally go for less than stockers with the same mileage. If you want a V8 60, keep looking. Drive this one as a benchmark.

These guys are just trolling with their gullible lure.

that truck is currently listed on EBAY with a starting bid of 15000-no bids yet and 3 plus days to go-

That's a nice looking rig, saw it on EbAY.
Seems a little pricy though.
There have been some real stock beauties on Ebay recently going for half that.

Too high IMOP
For less than that I would look for a factory diesel swapped into a 60.
Keep checking the Mud classifieds for an accurate gauge, that thing is clean though.

nice fj62 in tn w/ a diseal conversion a 5 speed for a lot less. plus it's still toyota and o what pimp factor

Howdy! I'd say that price is about double what you should pay to buy or build one. John
