Need Pics of Warn 8274-50 mounted on Bumper

I bought a winch mounting plate for my new Warn 8274-50. How the heck does this thing mount above the stock bumper on an FJ40? Some pics would sure be nice. Is there not a steel "tray" that goes between the frame spars to set it on? The winch mount I got seems to face vertically and has a place to mount the fairlead. Help...

Post up a few pics of the mounting plate that you have and maybe we can help you out.

I've seen the tray type mounts for planetary winches that mount across the top of the frame rails to the holes that your recovery hooks bolt into, but not for the 8274. You traditionally see replacement, non stock bumpers with the mounting plate and fairlead hole built in. Doesn't mean it ain't out there, but I haven't found it on the interwebs or 5 mintes of searching here on Mud

Have a 8274, but I got a custom bumper to make it work.

Sounds like you have the mounting plate to have the winch cable go through the bumber and have the fairlead mount in the center.

Here is mine.

There is no bottom tray. It bolts to the face of the winch and that is it. It is the same on all founr of my 8274 on different vehicles.

They have a buncha mounts for the Heep, and have one that is listed as a universal flatbed mount, just can't find any pictures or specs of 'em.
