Need new Radiator for BJ40

Depends on material used for radiator (aluminum or copper/brass) and your driving conditions. Since you are in Tx, I would recommend getting all the radiator (4 row aluminum) you can afford. Radiators are not a place to be tight with a buck, it's where all cooling is accomplished. 3-row is good with no a/c, 4-row for a/c equipped. Hope that helps.

Hi all,

grishw1 have you tried to have your existing radiator rebuilt? Look for an old school radiator shop, one that works on antiques, hot rods, etc.
They probably could rebuild the existing radiator with more capacity.

Regards,

Alan

I rebuilt mine because I was lucky enuff to have a shop in my town...they have since closed. now I have to travel a few miles to get rad work done now. If I have to replace it anytime soon, I certainly consider buying all the aluminum radiator I can afford...
