Sorry for the delay! Put another engine in a few months ago and it's running like new!

Well, all was good til this past weekend. I went up to Uwharrie Friday evening. When I left the outpost to head to camp it started acting funny. As soon as I turned on the dirt road it started bogging and hesitating under throttle. The only way I could accelerate at all was to give it about 3/4 throttle or better. I got to camp and shut it off. I started it back up after half an hour or so and ran up the trail. It acted normally and continued to do so all weekend. I headed home Sunday. I stopped at my dads in Garner. After I left it started doing the same thing after about 10 minutes of driving. I had to give it a lot of gas to drive at all. I drove it today and no issues, I have noticed lately that the starter is taking a lot of tries to engage. Sometimes it will crank for a while but the engine won't start. I'll try it a few times and it will fire up. Not sure if that's related, but worth mentioning I feel like.

No, I was there with a group of friends. I didn't even realize it was the relic run til the day before I went. I think I saw you, not sure though.

Dont remember colors but, is one of the Land Cruiser green? did someone loose winch hook Sunday morning?

I have it. Let me know how you want me to get it to you. I'll be at the work day this coming weekend.

how much gas is/was in the tank when it started acting up?
have you replaced the fuel filter or inspected the pickup screen in the tank?
maybe a loose connection on the coil or even the sensor under the ERG valve?

It had half a tank when it did it both times come to think of it. The fuel pump, screen and filter are a year old. I did check the coil and other various plugs to make sure they were secure. All the EGR and related equipment is gone.

don't know. my cruiser ran sort of like you mentioned one time and i was because the temp sensor at the top rear of the motor under the EGR valve plug was loose. you could use an IR temp gun and get a few readings on the exhaust manifold at each cylinder so you have a base line, then next time it acts up get a new reading and see if a cylinder stands out this might help you focus on an area or eliminate the mechanical parts.
