I've got a 92 FJ80, I really want the HDJ80 headlights in it. I'm trying to find a way to get a pair, but I'm not sure what you pros call them. I have a friend that goes to Japan once a month and is willing to hunt down what I want, if I know what to ask for. Any part numbers or tips will help. Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by HDJ headlights? I have the original JDM lights in my truck and they look exactly the same as the North American ones, just with a different beam pattern.

Do you mean the quad style headlights with four separate square reflectors and lenses?

Marlin aussie edition with the lights he's talking about

I mean the ones like the picture, with four separate lights.

Trucks shown are from AU. Don't know if Japan has them.

JDM 80's have an H4 low/hi beam and an H1 fog light (inside) with a yellow bulb cover. Of course they are a RHD beam pattern. Those quad lights are from other markets, such as Australia, Africa, and more.

They called quad lights. They never where offered in Japan. Pm Me if you want a set. I can get you a full brand new set.

Is it cheaper than Cruiser parts?

most of our 80 came that way .. I did mod mines and put 4 100/90 in all 4 .. there are more pic in my Marilu build from 2008 or 2009 ( at my sign .. )

Pretty sure those lights are inferior to the depo's. But, I've seen them on Yahoo Japan for much cheaper.

If you want LHD quad's that kick-ass:

Pretty pricey.....

Gotta say, I kinda really want those now. Price isn't that bad if you consider purchasing Depo lights and then converting to HID. :meh:

That price includes installation too, so maybe they cost less if you order and do your own install?

The hard part would be getting the factory parts, imo. Aren't the quad lights themselves just like EC or DOT (for example) rectangular headlights/hi-lo beams? If so, those can easily be found, bulbs upgraded, etc.

Other possible option is installing Depo’s loaded with HID’s. The Depo’s are an easy direct install. Loading the HID’s are not that difficult. There are videos explaining the process. The HID’s are a huge jump up in performance.

I bought a set on EBay Australia and then purchased jw speaker LED projectors.
Hi Douglas,

I have quad lights on the way and I'm looking to install JW Speakers as well so I'm looking for tips. I was wondering if you've installed them, and what all was needed in terms of adapters/modification?

Thanks
