Need help moving

I need a couple of extra hands to help with the final move from the Travelers Rest house to the Seneca house. Looking at Sunday July 8th. The heaviest/largest items are a treadmill, china cabinet and a few couches. Everything else in the house is small. Most stuff is already moved. I'll need someone with a good back for the heavy end of the treadmill.

Our old washer and dryer are free to someone who helps us move. They are old but work. Dryer makes a little noise and washer puts a little grease on the floor.

We will rent a UHaul truck for the move.

Will pay $.

Sorry to hear about the neck. I reinjured my shoulder yesterday. I can still move around stuff if the weight is kept low but there won't be any heavy lifting for me. That's why we have the two hired helpers.

I say you will be in charge of keeping people hydrated.

Nope - it is in the Seneca office.

The only really heavy things left are a treadmill, china cabinet, chest freezer, and a few cabinets in the garage. The two hired helpers can move all the heavy stuff. I can use truck beds (bring the Taco JL) and helping hands for smaller stuff. I need to empty the garage as much as possible.

Alison is going to keep an eye on the hired help moving the heavy stuff and I'm supposed to get everything else moved. If we have a handful of people working with me it won't be that hard at all.

Troll - you might wanna bring a mega fan to hook up while we are moving.

I figure KFC for lunch if that works for everyone and we'll have pizza for dinner. I don't plan on working late. We are going to have a cutoff time for when to leave the TR house so we can unload and relax. Unloading is going to consist of taking stuff out of the trucks and tossing in the house or garage. Alison and I will take care of the unpacking.

We are going to have a hard deadline to leave TR so we aren't out too late moving stuff - probably around lunch. Once we get to the Seneca house we are just going to unload everything and call it done. I don't plan to be working late.

I'll be driving the moving truck so I won't be able to tow the trailer. Your bed will work great.

Pizza has been ordered for supper. Beer is in the fridge.

Two hired movers are arriving at the TR house 9:30-10.

The wife and I will be at the TR house before 9 with a 24' Uhaul truck which is sitting behind the shop as I type.

We also have a fridge that came with the house that is free for the taking. Dibs first go to anyone helping with the move, then to any UC'r, then to any MUD'r, then we will get a charity to come by and pick it up. It would make a great garage fridge, or if you just cleaned it up a bit you could probably put it in your kitchen.
