Need a wire crimper suggestion (1 Viewer)

Picked up some H4 ceramic connectors for a modified light harness.

Picked up an "Iwiss" ratcheting crimp set off amazon.
But my crimps seem like they just need to be a bit tighter.

These are the connectors.

I'll link an image of the crimpers.

I'm using the A03B die set as pictured here.

Seems like the crimp would be better somewhere in between the smallest and the middle crimp slot on the die.

I'll probably get flamed for this but it ended up being a just buy the right tool once thing for me - I threw out probably 3 cheap sets when I picked this up :

I was convinced after reading their Article and having other people recommend them - and I've yet to have a bad crimp out of them, no connection just a very happy customer. Scroll down for 95lbs of anchors supported by a 12 GA wire and crimp.....

I've a couple of other Engineer brand crimpers for pins - the Engineer PA-09 and Engineer PA-20, but they do sell an interchangeable die and frame kit which would do all the pins and your light harness work perfectly :

That's always a problem when using AWG connectors and crimpers with metric gauge wire. I wish I had an easy solution for you.

This one has been crimped a couple times.
Hard to get a good photo becouse I basically killed the few connectors I had.

That lug is meant for smaller gauge wire.

That's a really bad example. As I said before I only had a few connector. But have more on the way. Most of the crimps pulled off with no effort. I tried it with with some smaller gauge wire. Same effect. When I used the smallest notch on the crimper it held but twisted the connector badly.
The lugs specify 3.5mm/0.14" wire. This wire measures 2.4mm

It looks like you need 3.5mm wire then.

Edit: and I'm thinking the 3.5mm is the diameter of the insulation, not the wire.

The insulation is about 3.77mm diameter. The wire measures 2.4mm diameter.
I'm thinking this is a hard thing to diagnosis through a forum. I definitely appreciate all the help.
The ratcheting crimper I have just seems to bottom out one notch to soon. I was hoping someone might have a suggestion for a different crimper. Which a few people have. I should have the additional connectors sometime next week. Ill update with before and after pics of the crimps then. I'm definitely open to any other insight.

This die set has nothing on it.
Here's a picture of it with the spec sheet. I'm using the A03bc die

The crimper should really be from the same manufacturer as the crimp lugs.

AMP / TE Connectivity is what we use where I work. (But $$$)

You need to double check what size wire the lugs are designed to use. Most of those headlight connectors look like they take 14 AWG. If the diameter is supposed to be 0.14 inches, that is about 7AWG which doesn't make sense.

Yeah I had a terrible time even trying to find these lugs. Let alone a crimper suggestion from the mfg.
For the h4 bulb connection the connector measure .31" or 7.8mm doesn't seem to very common in the US.
Ill look into that crimper. You don't have a link do you?

Is that the size of the wire or Housing on that chart? Also I am only using a set a calipers to get the measurements maybe I'm taking them the wrong way.
Base on my wire strippers its 12g wire.

Also this is an aftermarket harness sent to me by Susquehanna MotorSports. So its not necessarily Toyota's specs for wire
