Need a rear bumper? BIOR rear bumper group buy!

So we got 4 for the bolt on, 2 for the high clearance.

Petrotk40, are you going to move to the high clearance in order to split the difference? I decided not to mess up the list later on and move. Since we have 3 people(unlisted) pending on the bolt on model. Let me know what you decide

Time to do some damage on thirsty thursday! It is only the second day of the group buy and it looks promising!

Also, Mike will not be able to answer emails because he will gone for a week. At this point, send all the questions to me and I will send them over to mike in a compiled list when he is back. He can only do 10% on items that he gets an order of 5 or more on. So adding sliders and a front bumper(unless another group order is setup) does not apply a 10% discount on those items. Hope our friends at the skid plate buy are doing well! Goodluck to you guys!

would that be for the high clearance? We want to know what to expect lol

Put me down as a maybe. I'm gonna get under my beast this weekend and start my maintenance baseline. If I don't find anything of importance, I may very well be in on this deal. Will decide early next week. Seeing as Mike is out of pocket for a week, I am ass-u-me-ing that this group buy won't "close" for a week or so ...

I would really prefer the high clearance one... If we get to the end of the GB and there are only 4 bolt ons, I might be swayed.

Will do! Maintenance what?:p And there is no close date on the group buy that was announced. as long as we get 5 orders. Should this group buy "close", I already talked to mike regarding the high clearance group buy, which is why both lists are posted here

Looks like you will be getting the high clearance model:)

Man, I say "maybe" and I magically appear on the yes list ... talk about peer pressure

the end says "pending details" or something like that.

I just dont want to lose names from going back and forth in the list, sorry about the mishap

No worries ... just providing a daily ration of s--t ..

Another concern is the snowball effect ... heavy bumper brings rear springs & shocks ... brings front torsion bars ... front bumper ... gotta have a winch to put in there ... damn, now the wheel wells look empty (tires), so a $2K bumper turns into a whole lotta $$$ ... not that I have not done that a time or two in the past ...

LOL, I love it. Unfortunately you are exactly right. I just installed a full OME medium kit with 860 rear springs not one month ago. Now im thinking $hi*, new rear bumper = post those 860's for sale and here comes 863's Haha.

Story of my life, as im sure it is with most on this board...

HAHAHA this is so true! My downhill path started with the 866 coils

We are all with you on this

There are a couple people here running ARB front and a heavy rear bumper without lift. One of them is 2wheelbob's bronze hundy. Armored out but no lift as of yet. So the ride might be s***ty for some people;) not sure how much the rear will sag with stock coils but it may get rid f the factory rake;) One thing I know for sure is upgrades have to start somewhere;)

We also have another potential add on to the list and he is in my area:cheers:

Well it's good to know there will be enough interest for another GB in Jan. I've had my eyes on this bumper for a while now, but the bimmer needed new forged shoes :)

More than likely in on a bolt on model. Just want to see what Mike's timeline looks like to see if I can get my brother can deliver it to me in Utah:)

Not sure what Mike's turn-around time is...Will email him...

Hmmmm well it all depends on when we place our orders

But Mike is out of town until next thursday!

Currently, he is scheduled until mid november! That gives you an idea of the turnaround time IF we placed an order today

Anyone near the Ft Campbell/Nashville area that's placing an order? I'm waiting on an email back from Mike until I officially put my name on the list for the bolt on.

Question, if people are interested, can we all try to coordinate on shipping between this and the skid buy. I know logistics are a bitch, but it could be a good strategy if destinations match.

You will not get a response back until next thursday because he is out of town!

PM me the question as I am compiling a list of questions to send mike when he is back
