Both of these bumper designs are very nice. Honestly, I'd be happy with either one myself. To me the new bolt on just looks quite a bit larger. Maybe there really only is a couple inch difference in clearances. Some people will not want to cut off their rear cross member too so the bolt on has advantages. I've seen Brocks bumper in person and was very impressed with fit and finish. I really liked the low profile look and the way it wraps under the truck and provides nice protection from mother earth too.

I feel like a broken record here... but I have not seen someone confirm if Mike changed his design yet. So here it goes again.. the bolt on version still requires cutting part of the cross member. So it is not a true bolt on solution. In my opinion the cutting required is every bit as much work as the high clearance model unless you have access to a plasma cutter. The bottom of his bolt on solution has a lot of coverage as well. I will try and post a picture of it when I get home for you guys. Also, while the bolt on version sticks out only 2" further and 1.5" lower. The added clearance on the high clearance comes.from the slope form bottom to top. I have had these side by side and there is some def. Clearance gains with the high clearance model. But that is really only advantage to more hard core wheelers which there are very few on here. My bolt on version has taken some pretty hard hits with no ill affects.

I would love to get in on this GB, but would have to wait until after new years.

More importantly, I would like to get in on shipping with blackwater to NWA or Little Rock. That might be the biggest potential savings.

I'm in the same boat. Maybe we could have a 2nd GB first of the year.

Do not worry, I will setup another one after this one is complete. That pallet that blackwater is going to get is going to have like 4 bumpers on it if you join:popcorn:

Does anyone have a ballpark figure shipping these bumpers? are we looking at $100 or $500?

Well heck (keeping it clean) :censor: ... I haven't even gotten started on my maintenance baseline or pulled together an overall plan and this comes up. I'm a thinking pretty hard about jumping on this. :steer:

I do not think a pallet should exceed $200(do not quote me on that) but I shipped a motorcycle chassis through pallet for about $160

I guess shipping prices will vary depending on where you live. Also, one bumper will be larger than a standard pallet. Just as a reference my front bumper shipping quotes alone ranged from $275 to around $400 from various freight companies; that was shipping from CO to VA... There are other shipping options out there like picking up something at a freight terminal, etc which can save you money.

Here is the photo of the underside and also the licenses plate light. Some people have sent me GM's asking about that in the past.

When I got mine, I was able to save a couple hundred by having it shipped to a freight terminal. Everything fit in the back of the handy when i picked it up. I think shipping from Co to my home in San Francisco was close to $450.

I am assuming the dual can carrier just bolts on to the swing out arm and can be done with or with out the ladder option? How sturdy is it? Will it hold a full yeti cooler?

Freight shipping is based entirely on weight. It won't be cheap, unfortunately.

I would be interested in setting something up around tax time next year perhaps. :)

Having it shipped and picked up from a local freight terminal makes a big difference in the costs. I'm expecting around $160-200 based on a previous quote I got from Slee. Hence why I mentioned earlier that the GB discount basically makes the shipping free. I'm expecting my total be $1950, so 10% off that is $195 which will more than likely cover shipping.

Local terminal will be my option. Too bad the terminal is 50 miles away:bang:

Port of Tacoma (major international sea port and freight terminal) is 3 miles from me. SCORE! :D

I used a local terminal for my arb combo from the bay area to dc, and it was about $160 if i remember correctly. It was not on a pallet, just wrapped up with cardboard.

Can you tell us what shipping company it was? That may help with pricing and estimates

That is crazy expensive for shipping. I know someone who just ordered the double swing-out with ladder, spare tire carrier and jerry can holder from Slee and shipping from CO to GA was around $250.00. Btw, this was to their front door.

How much did it end up costing you shipping it to a freight terminal?
