Hello everyone...
The radiator in my '86 FJ60 has sprung a leak. So, I'm sidelined for a bit.
Anyone have any any recommendations on a place to pick up a radiator?
I have so far called Preformance Radiators ($388) and Radiators.com ($408).
I swear these were cheaper the last time i looked.
Anyway, Would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks
Patrick

ps. was recored about 7yrs ago.

The Koyo is indistinguishable from factory in the 80 series, I get mine at Performance. I'd check online unless you need it today.

Depending on the details of the leakage, the oem radiator should be repairable. Several good shops in the valley depending on your location. John

Just installed one of these

If you don't want to stick with OEM, this is possible. Needs the later series smaller radiator cap (80 series) and comes with the tranny cooler.

You can get the Aluminum Champion ones on Ebay for under $200 still. You have to search under Land Cruiser instead of fj60

I have had one of these on my 60 -V8 swapped for about 2 years 20+K miles... no problems.

P.S I have an OEM radiator with a small leak (repairable) that i'd be willing to let go if you need it.

Good luck

performance lost my buisines a few years back, i found a small shop in glendale that does everything performance can do, at a competitive price and better attitude.

support the little guy and find a small shop in your neck of the woods. they appreciate the buisiness and will show it.

hope your reading this performance, you suck.

Go to Camelback Toyota, buy an OE radiator with our mud love discount and call it a day. You'll be much happier knowing you have a factory replacement part even if it cost you slightly more.
