DVD+R DL? what did you use to burn it?Spent the better part of five hours buying a dvd large enough, downloading the file, the bit torrent agent and burning it to disk (twice). Did not work for me. Nav system player could not read data. Not for everyone...
Dean, the disk is a Memorex 8.5GB DVD+R disk. I used the burn disk application on my Mac. Downloaded the file(s) directly to the burn disk folder and the selected 'burn to disk'DVD+R DL? what did you use to burn it?
I used a memorex as well. hmm. I don't want to point to using a mac as the problem, but it might be. I don't know enough about macs to say one way or another (and i'm typing this on a MB Air). Any access to a PC?Dean, the disk is a Memorex 8.5GB DVD+R disk. I used the burn disk application on my Mac. Downloaded the file(s) directly to the burn disk folder and the selected 'burn to disk'
Can somebody PM me if they have a working copy? I will mail you a self-addressed stamped envelope to borrow it and ship it back once I've done the NAV update. Thanks!
I wonder about doing an update on my 2001 LX470. It has the climate controls integrated in the touch screen. Probably something else that having that system makes everything else difficult.
Having the integrate climate controls won't effect being able to update the software?
You can't just borrow the NAV disk to perform the update, the disc must remain in the player permanently. It's read real-time during use, not just a one-time upgrade.
