As promised, it arrived at the dump.

Gas tank is located outside of Georgetown, CA.

I've got a good condition gas tank from a Dec 1972 FJ55. Inside looks great. Has sender but I don't know if it works(again, looked good)

This is the style that bolts to the body.

I'd like $50 for it. I'd rather not ship but I will work with a MudShip you arrange.

At end of July, it heads to the dump.

I got delayed for dump run. But @PabloCruise is currently talking with me about it. If it falls through, you can be next. Keep in mind large oversized box so shipping is probably high to go coast to coast.
Thanks John.
This looks like my huckleberry, but I do not *need* this tank. If @Blastservices needs it, I will step aside.

Mine appears to have had the entire top lopped off and accessed then braised back together. Has about 15 leaks and the truck is on a lift inop until I find a solution.
@PabloCruise id be super appreciative if you were that kind!

I’ll pay shipping no matter what of course

I am officially stepping aside so the party from Clearwater can make good use of this tank!

@Blastservices - I wonder if you would consider a request? If you think that is an original tank that is beyond repair, would you consider cutting it open so we can see how the lines in the top and bottom of the tank are plumbed?

I have always been curious where the vent lines run (probably to the top 4 corners), and where the fuel suction pick up originates, and where the fuel return line dumps.

If this is not possible on your end, I understand!

These are the part numbers for "General" country pigs. I assume SA pigs are in that category.

77100-90357(06/1970 - 08/1972)1
77100-90359(09/1972 - 01/1973)1
77100-90361(02/1973 - 12/1974)

These are the part numbers for US pigs.

77001-90358FOR W/T.C.S.S.1
77100-90358(04/1972 - 08/1972)1
77100-90360(09/1972 - 01/1973)1
77100-90363(02/1973 - 04/1976)

Just FYI
