Mystery T-Case Seal (1 Viewer)

Sorry to double post but I am really trying to find out where this T-Case seal goes. As I recall I did not take it off my T-case and it is the last oil seal left from my SOR T-Case rebuild kit. The front output was leaking prior to the rebuild so I think it goes under the companion flange but I am not sure.

I am working on a my 1985 FJ60 doing a 5 Speed Install and T-Case rebuild

I had that same seal left over when I did my t case rebuild. I think it is used in the fj62 cases, so it is not needed anywhere on a 60 case.

it *looks* like the one that would be used in the case that the split case had the non US parking brake attachment, as the rear output seal, on the speedo housing, sealing the drum.
