Got the seats stripped then painted with red oxide for rust protection. Took me a while to temporarily assemble the front seats. Turns out these were used ones that came from Japan which is actually an RHD. Now that both front seats are assembled, it would be best to color these with flat black. Then dis-assemble to put on the new seat covers.

The idea is to spray the color then topcoat so as to protect the paint from scratches. Especially during the installation of the seat covers, I expect some scratches here and there.

Tried the fit of the old carpet. needed a few adjustments as it was not realy fitted well to the floor. Either it was not done properly or the carpet shrunk a little.
