I hope I figured out how to post a picture. Here is my new rig from RestoredFJ40.com. They did a great job on it. 383 Stroker and all. Just had 33x10.5x15 swampers put on it. Let me know what you guys think.:grinpimp:

Do you have a lift? Tall and skinny does look good but i am still worried about them rubbing.

Wow. That looks great. Nice rig.

No pricing on their site.... just curious what they would get for a rig like that...?

I think I'd better be sitting down.

76Fj40Seattle - It looks like yours has a small amount of lift. Probably from the reverse shackle kit, those usually raise you an inch or so.

I hope to restore my 78 to look as good as yours.

Good looking cruiser.

great looking 40 :)

if your ever down my way, look me up.

John

Macneill, a 1971 they have for sale with a rebuilt 2F and no lift is going for $26,500.00 His has the 383 stroker and lift and tires... I don't even want to think about how much that cost.

Well you are going to think I am nuts, nuts nuts. But was either this or a brand new car. I decided that i would buy a brand new FJ40. So after much thought i Paid $26,000 for it. Ground up restoration. New 350 HP stroker. Dipped repainted , rewired...... I know its nuts.

Great looking truck! I don't think it's really that nuts, I know a few guys that have put out 25-30 grand doing a ground up restore. Sometimes its all at once or over a number of years. I say if you've got it, go for it.

Great looking rig!!!! Any more pics?

like i said, sweet 40, but with a SBC its not in many folks eyes(mine included) a true restoration......if it was it would have a 2F in it. But I can't blame ya for going SBC.

super nice 40, they look like they do excellent work, price is really not that bad for what was done.

nuts?......heck no.......look at my sig line ;)

Great looking rig. In most cases you get what you pay for, and if you take super good care of it, and as other rigs continue to rot away, I bet you will retain most if not all of its value!

Great looking rig... now get us some more pics of the beauty!
