They were a good choice as they are pretty much local as far as I am concerned. Takes about a 5 1/2 hour drive down there from Seattle where I live. In addition I went to school in Corvallis , OR and Lincoln City is not to far from there so it gives me an excuse to get back down there.

With all you high-rollers snapping up all the good FJ40's for big $$$ I think I have finally accepted the fact that I'll never be able to own another. I'm also kicking myself for the ones I let go in the past...

Nice FJ40 ! :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Great looking rig. Looks like they did it right from what the pics show. Congrats...

Hi All:

So, the restore was done by Scott Gresik (sp.?) on the Oregon coast?

The bodywork and paint certainly looks great! Is the engine carb or F.I.?

For general-purpose use I'd would have gone with the BF Goodrich TA A/Ts 33X10.5. The 'Swamper 33X10.5 would be awesome in shallow mud, but would not be so great on an off-camber trail! ;-)

So, why didn't you come to the last Seattle Cruiserheads meeting??

Regards,

Alan

Thanks Guys enjoying it so far. It just a Poser right now. I guess I need to go find some Mud. Not hard with all the rain we have had in Seattle. But I will. I will find out about the floor mats for you guys.

Yes Scott did it. Body work is great. Its Carburated. I love swampers . I had swampers on a 60 i had and really liked them. So I put the same on this guy. Still want to put an ARB Bull Bar, OME Daccar Lift and a Winch. Then I should be done!

Nice looking rig, man!

I too own a 76 fj40 same color. I only hope that mine will someday ressemble yurs when I'm finished.

Nice buy.

Nice cruiser. I don't think it's nuts at all. What can you buy for $26k new these days? And still have all the good stuff a '40 has?

Ooh and I like the color too. :grinpimp: Congrats!
