@Land Cruiser Junky , 1st off, that 60 looks awesome aaannd it's the right color 👍
2nd, x 6 or what ever it is on the carpet template. you said you got that neoprene from a metal supplier? you wouldn't happen to recall the manufacture's name of it? that stuff looks like just the thing the doctor would order for my floor. i'm likin' the fact of blowing it out with garden for clean up. thanks for your time

Thanks. Before I take it to Georg I'm gonna pull the neoprene out and make a few improvements on it. I'll post up a separate thread and send out patterns to those who want them. I was just at the metal supplier last week and they still have it. Industrial Metal Supply in Sunland, CA. The stuff is amazing. I put it in 7 years ago and it still looks like I put it in yesterday.

Yeah the next time I'm in I'll ask. This stuff is 1/8" thick quality stuff.

Got the rear 4Plus Classic Bumper installed this weekend. Way more work than the front bumper but worth it. Outstanding quality and a great design and fit.

Since my last post I've moved from sunny CA to beautiful TN. I've replaced the tired Ironman suspension with an OME Heavy Plus that I got from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters and some new 33x10.5/15s and love the way it rides. Here's a pic I took yesterday of 3 of my 4 vehicles. The LV is in the garage. Needed the Craftsman with 1.5 acres to mow.

I've done some bodywork in the last month as well. I found a matt blue at Lowe's of all places that matches 1 of the 3 shades of blue in my faded patina paint. I repainted the front end to cover some rust repair I did earlier with a color that didn't match.

I also completely recut and installed my floors with new 1/8" neoprene, pad and carpet. I made some improvements to the fit of the neoprene and painted my floor seat mounts black.

I wanted to take this to Georg and have him install a Sniper kit, cam and header for the 2F and an H55 but the move happened very quick. Now I've really got no immediate plans other than wheel and find new places to camp. Oh, and yardwork. 😁

Looks great 😎

go wheelin' , it'll be there when you get back :flipoff2: damn! at least you're not rebuilding the corner of the house
Exactly. Heavy rains and 60 mph winds took down trees all over town. 7 between my neighbors and I with no damage to homes or vehicles. The 60 was in the driveway and it missed that too. I made quick work of it. About 2 days and it was all chopped up and stacked.

Well the big news on this 60 is that it's already 3 months in on the 1 years waiting list at Proffitts Land Cruisers. They'll be doing a 5.3LS 6L80 swap, axles, brakes and installing a LongRangeAmerica 40 gal tank.

I have been sleeping in the back when solo camping over the last 14 years and recently went out with my wife for a few days. I found out real quick that two people sleeping between the wheel wells is not good so I built this in the last week for the next trip out. Other than some very minor body work and touching up some paint it just might be done for a while. Really looking forward to having that swap done.

That's a long way from Fort Algazy (1st post pic) to the wilds of TN and spots in between....

Beautiful functional build. Cheers.
