Haven`t forgot about you guys! Just haven`t done much, the spring is slowly arriving here now. The snow has almost left us:rolleyes:, and I will soon begin to work on my truck.

I have changed the rear shocks to ones with 14" travel, but the rear springs are a bit to stiff so I have ordered the all-pro leaf kit. This will arrive next week, so I will need to do some more work now...

So, now I only have these things to do;
Convert to leafs rear
Mount dual cases, with all-pro xxx-cross member
Modify drive shafts
Mount the all-pro rear disc kit
Mount the all-pro cage

I think thats it, at least the biggest things...

It looks cool when people bob 4runners but IMO I would not want to lose the valuable cargo space. I bought a 4runner to be an all around expedition type vehicle and though I do drag my rear end from time to time its not enough of a problem for me to warrant bobbing it. it would look sweet on your rig though. if you dont have the need for the extra space I say go for it

Thanx:beer:

I am going to remove at least half of the rear seats so I get extra cargo space there... I never carry more than one passenger anyway... But for expeditions I carry tons of s***... But I have a cargo net for security reasons... :)

I will not decide to bob or not to bob until the fall... I`m just doing technical things until then... and using/abusing it...

I'll have to look up the name but there is a company that sells a fiberglass tundra front end that you can mount on the mini's...thats what it looks like to me

That's probably way wrong and I just insulted your mother or something.... :D[/quote]

I think the fenders on that one is from hannemann fiberglass.

Been flex testing, not so bad??? Got a little more out-travel both front and rear, but there is no more up-travel.

Maybe theres no rush to install the leafs?

Wow. Thats got to be "Red nub", Bundrandts (All Pro) old 4runner. That thing is the reason I got into this crap. Who has it? how is it doing? I heard it had a bronco land on it at Ultimate Adventure, then he rebuilt it and sold it....

Its doing well, a friend of mine has it. It lives in Norway now. Its in mint condition. I`ve heard he is interested in buying back, but the freight prices and the us-dollar is not friendly for the moment...

For an example, for the moment you would have to pay around 20000usd for a stock 91 4-runner over here...

Wow that is crazy. I remember seeing that 4runner a while back. From California to Norway, never would have guessed lol

Its quite common over here, the norwegian currency is strong at the moment together with a weak dollar. So we get much for our money at the moment.

And no car is being produced over here, just oil. So doesnt matter where we get it from...

Right on, how's it feel now?

Got my missis to help me breathe the breakes, short story... have to do it again... ;) Feels better atleast...

that rear shock mount has to be relocated. you are losing so much clearance there.

Yeah, but I have the part for converting to leafs around here... so some time this summer or in the fall I am doing that swap! thanx for the heads up though:cheers:

Seems like it has been a while since my last post, not much done really. Swapped to gel-batteries the other day. Doing the dual-t-case conversion tomorrow... :p

Looking forward to it...

lost track of time or something, so didn't do it and wont until august:crybaby:

Leaving on holiday on friday, but are bringing the runner... :D

Doing the lapland trophy in finland and a competition in sweden before returning home.

Got a few mods done yesterday, towing points front and rear, front bumpstops...

I have to change the clutch though... that sucks...

Been a while now... Lots to do at work, and so little time... But been wheeling alot... Didnt get to finish all my plans, but tested the truck thoroughly.

Find a few things that needs adressing...

*an engine mount came off the frame, and needs to be re-welded
*the coil suspension needs to be changed to leafs to get the same setup front and rear
*the axles "needs" to be changed to volvo portals:eek:
*long slip kit for the driveshaft needs to move from my shelf to under the truck
*my dual transfer cases needs to be installed together with my e-break.
