Well this weekend I replaced took my front sway bar off, cleaned all the crud off of it, replaced all the bushings, and put it back on. Now when turning the wheel, the bar/bushings squeak. Apparently I should have used some lube when reassembling. What should I have used?

Thanks!

I think I have it fixed now. I went out tonight after work and took the bushings out, sprayed them with some white lithium grease, and reinstalled everything. Did a little test and things seem quite again. After doing a search on the internet i found that most folks recommend white lithium grease for that application.

Be sparing, as it will pick up grit.

The alignment guy at my work uses blue marine grease to quiet pesky suspension bushings. It comes in a tub so you can brush it on, and it's water proof.

Hey Derek!! I just realized it's you!! I was meaning to ask you at Prarie City what your IH8MUD user name was, but forgot!! Take care!

Yep that's my mud user. :)

I forgot to mention, Meredith really liked your license plate frame.

It's good to know who you are now! Tell Meredith "thanks!" BTW, I just ordered my sliders from Hanna today. Going to pick them up next weekend.
