I'm bored, here's some pictures from my wheeling experiences this year. I pulled them off Facebook so the quality probably isn't there.

Looks like fun will be coming your way.

Are you gonna paint the new body? Or is the paint good?

Hey if you are interested in any SR20DET parts I've got a factory garret turbo, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, and a fuel rail with injectors. I used to have a 93' SE-R sentra, and me eyes were bigger than my wrenching abilities at the time. Long story short the car is sold but I still have a bunch of parts. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Kingspence,
Cool thread. It's motivational to see you use your cruiser like it should, and all the work you put into it. Your puddle crossing was great, makes me wonder how such a deep hole got there? When you get a chance can you post pictures of your brackets that hold your rack on? Thanks for sharing.

Spence, you'll be happy with those rims, I'm running the exact same ones, just with spacers.

Just you guys wait, he's got some good surprises up his sleeve:grinpimp:

As for the body, it needs paint. It came from the Desert, so the paint is faded and the interior is in pretty rough shape; but there is no rust to speak of. The truck was repainted at one point, pretty poor job I must say, I'm pretty sure they sprayed it as a single stage. I'll probably hit it with the wax and see what comes of it, but if I'm putting fenders, a hood, and rad support on, I might as well just paint the whole thing.

Unless you have a top mount t25/t28 manifold, I'm more than good for parts. Thanks though!

I'l snap a few shots of the roof rack brackets and post them up tomorrow. Promise. They are super simple, all I used was a vice and a BFH.

Oh hai 37''s! 37x12.5r15 Trxus M/T's. I measured my worn 35''s today, they came in at 32 3/4in. Holy small tire batman. The could only get one of four mounted, the beads wouldn't seat. They told me that they were going to try to source a bigger blaster tomorrow, when I started talking to them and suggested ether, they caved and said that's probably how it'll end up going down.:grinpimp:

Those are sick! You are going to love those tires.

My brother is planing to replace his wearing out 37" MT/R with those. I had them in 33" on my 4runner and they were awesome.

Cant wait to see how they look on the cruiser.

Seen this bad boy on your tube. Haha build thread for this ? Id like to set my 60's stance almost exact as your , love the flex you get !!!!
Wheel on !

I got the rest of my tires today. And **** me do they look good on the truck. Pics in the daylight tomorrow. Maybe I'll take a few shots with a truck my buddy just finished building last week, 1985 Toyota Pickup, 6in lift, geared and locked, 37''s as well.

It's sooooo slow now, turbo has to happen. With a turbo though my gearing is gonna be perfect.

You jelly? I love the tires already. They drive so nice, and are so quiet on the street. I went just down the road today and drove through a bunch of ditches in 2wd open like it was a walk in the park. I need to find a good ditch and actually flex this thing out. I don't think these tires are even going rub, nothing serious if any.

Also, I had a few requests on the roof rack brackets. Basically, I fold the steel with a vice and BFH, drill the hole and used the bracket to clamp to the driprail. I set the rack on the roof with wood under it as a spacer, cut the bracket feet, leaned them up and tacked them to the rack. Then pulled it back off and welded everything completely.

Super sick I LOVE it .....

Super jealous...

I went from thinking 35's would look good on mine, to now seriously considering 37's.

Good thing is, I don't have to worry about that for a while, since my plans involve a lot of $$$

Looks great wit hthe new tires! 37" tires look just right on the SOA 60.

Can you measure the mounted hight of the tires?

We just rolled a 39.5 Iroc up beside my brother SOA 60 and it looks like they would fit with out to much fuss.

Nice man, 3.5" BS looks great on your rig, good choice.

Actually, I made a mistake when posting the pics of the wheels. These are 3.75''BS with 5mm spacers up front to clear the caliper. I'm glad you still approve.:p
