I'd probably skip out on metal bumpers adding weight to the vehicle, put that money elsewhere. A stock bodied hundy lifted with huge ass tires looks great, unless you offroad hardcore and need it. Big tires make it look like a sherp, which is an awesome look.

Amazing dedication. Do you work at that body shop?

Also, you do plan on adding the body color to the front grill Toyota logo, right? It still looks wrecked/incomplete without the grill badge showing in contrast to the grill.
I see what you mean. I’m thinking when i put the wheels on, it’ll flow a little better. I am debating using a oem 1985 FJ60 “TOYOTA” emblem but you’ll see the old Toyota crest behind it minus the emblem of course. If it looks wacky I’ll fix it later.

Thanks for mentioning the heater T’s. My buddy told me to do them a few months ago. But they looked alright. Today i decided to go over them again and just replace with OE part # 87248-60460. Total cost was 20$ and took roughly 15 minutes.

Is it all done yet? JK.

What gun do you use for shooting paint?

Back at it! The gel definitely helped. I still had to clean it up after using that entire tub.

Scuffed it and instead of painting the entire roof. Tim sprayed it to middle of the sunroof. You honestly can’t tell at all.

I should of gotten better pics. But we left printer inside the rails (you’ll never see it, and it’s good enough to protect it from rust) and sprayed what’s visible back.

Installed the Raptor style LED’s. Some guys here hate them, but I’ve always thought they look good! First i installed them too spaced out, yanked them out and brought them a little closer.

Had to clean out this goop from the previous trim installed. Without cleaning it up, it wouldn’t sit nice and leveled. Always the little things.

Now we’re onto the cool stuff.

Dobinson 2.5-3” lift, heavy springs, diff drop, torsion bars, upper control arms, extended sway bar links. Not going to lie, the rear struts kicked my ass. I never want to do those again. EVER.

Smashed the pinch welds, rubber coated it, and it was still rubbing on full lock. Cut some of the fender and sanded the bottom of the weld. Gave me a good bit of room for clearance.

Some guys cringe at this but what the heck! I’m running this thing into the ground.
