Pulled it out and noticed the rake was bad. I was hoping it’d settle to level out but i highly doubt it’d drop that much. Ended up ordering medium 167 Dobinson springs.

Installed the medium springs and it lowered the rear by 2”. Much happier with this stance.

I could use y’all’s help. When i started this project, my plan was to toss out the Port installed flares. Always thought they looked hideous.

However plugging them back up. They don’t look so bad, kind of look good! They’re scuffed ready for paint so don’t mind the color.

Flares or no flares?

They would be bumper matched. I think it makes it look a little more aggressive, like a newer 80.

Planning on dropping it off next week for a Detail. I’ll get proper pics when it’s all finished.

I still need to drop it off at the upholstery shop. So we’re not quite there yet.

You're a machine, Dan! And your LC's a beast! I think the flares work on yours. I don't usually like them but they line up well with the stance. Keep in touch. I'd love to come by the shop again to see the progress.

Thank you Jeff!!! Sounds good to me. Give me a shout any time.

Oh man oh man that 100 looks great! Awesome work. I see you are in Cobb County. I’m in Cherokee and in Cobb all the time. I’m also a professional detailer. Have you had it detailed yet? I know where to come when I need some body work done. Lots of us 100 series owners in Cobb and Cherokee County. I would love to come and check out this build in person. You have done an outstanding job bringing this 100 back to life.

The flares look good tbh. I think it compliments the wheelset.

Hi JT, i have a detailer i've been using for years. any time you're down in Cobb. you're more than welcome to shoot me a message and come check it out any time!

My thoughts too! i'm going to run them without now. but might get the painted just to plug up and get a better idea.

Nice work, looking great! Now, fix that rear wiper sag. :flipoff2:
i never noticed! i dont think ive ever used the rear wiper but i can easily adjust it. was actually looking into some good wiper blades today. want to get something nice for the new windshield.

To those who were wondering, I asked LCDan2 for the specs of the wheels and the place where he ordered the TE-37s from. He replied that the specs are 16x8 ET0, which I think might be the only option for 16" wheels that fit the LC100/LX470 platform. There might be 17/18" options, but I haven't had any luck finding any information, if they exist. He said he ordered them from ICB Motorsports (Chandler, AZ), which coincidentally is where I'm thinking about ordering a set of Regamaster Evos for my 964. He also mentioned checking out "Showstoppers," but I haven't reached out to them about anything, yet. Apparently, there aren't many sets available as the 5x150, large center bore fitments have been discontinued. Good luck to anyone that's searching because these might actually be even more difficult to find than SCS F5s!

FWIW, regarding the "fender flares"/add-ons, I think they look pretty good with the 0 offset wheels. I always thought they looked kinda goofy when I was running near stock offset wheels, but with any wheel that has some poke, I think they look good. In fact, I've been looking for a set, but don't really want to shell out $300+ for something that is mostly cosmetic. Of course, stupid me, I threw my perfectly good set out when I last moved.

Driving in the rain today and i noticed my wipers are poop! New windshield deserves some new wipers. I talked to my local LC buddy and he suggest Bosch Icons.

Lists for 30$ each. Ended up paying 14$ a piece.

Excited to test them out tomorrow as it’s supposed to rain all week.

It’s the small things that make me happy.

Another question for you guys.

My friend got me this key cover a couple years ago for my birthday. I have a crappy no name key, I’d like to get something that will make this cover work but 185$ wholesale for a new key from Toyota is still a bit much. Especially if i only plan to use the buttons and ditching the OE case. Any suggestion on what you guys would do? Please attach links

Also get a glass ceramic coating for your windshield and all glass. It helps out a ton and is like Rain X on steroids.
