Thank you!!
I love the 4.2s, but not at those prices!

What prices have you seen for the 4.2TD's and how many KM's? I like my 4.7 but it's petrol thirst makes my wallet sad. I drive my HDFT equipped 80 and get 22.5USMPG. Given the choice, Factory Turbo Diesel for the win. :)

Plz check this site as an example, these are dealers not auction cars, let me know what you think and i will get back shortly

Are the wheels Enkei? Those are top quality wheels.

I wonder if you can use that fender mirror to shave while driving? sweet find . savage negotiation skills never underestimate what you can find on Craigslist. I like it just the way it is

"Anyhow, I saved over $5,000 by not importing it myself and paying for a grade 4 vehicle
directly to an agent there. "

"According to the papers, he made decent money, and we are both happy, even though
my offer was 30% lower than asking price, "

How very cryptic:
Tareq:"I got a great deal on my Land Cruiser"
CanadianRockyCruiser: "How much?"
Tareq: "I can't tell you because it's top secret, but it was a great deal. Instead, I'll measure it in relative terms to give you a series of strange and vague hints."
CanadianRockyCruiser: "Wow that is a great deal...(maybe?)"

Glad you like your new-to-you Toyota. Looks nice, and having a low km vehicle is always nice for a used rig. Will you be applying very large decals to the side and rear windows of this one?

Haha, I gave you a clue, I paid what you would pay for an 03 LC with around 200 -250k miles give or take ;)

I am thinking about puting the logos,
but I might put "Jeep Rescue Team" instead Haha!! :D

Are you saying yours came with a rear diff locker? I see LSD... and if LSD, then no ATRAC, right?

As for the 2002, 5 speed. Your 100 will have a build date of 8/2002 or later and would be considered a 2003 model year in the US.

No, unfortunately mine does not have a rear difflocker, only central locker.
I dont know if it has LSD, how did u see that?

Yep, it is the equivalent of 2003 North American spec :)
There are so many 4 speeds for cheap and low miles, but I insisted on getting the 5 speed since I wanna go 35s, without regearing!

Yea, you got a good deal because of the RHD. Most 100 shoppers are wanting LHD.

Supply and demand and all that.

For the savings, and cleanliness, I would buy a RHD again if I have to!!
Took me 5 minutes to get used to it, no big deal!

I wish! :D
They are called Wild Cruising, only sold in Japan.
I googled them in my size, they cost $800 for a set of 4.
I think I will keep them and paint them bronze or gun metal :D

I appreciate how Japanese people take care of their vehicles.
My wife grew up in Japan so we are over there all the time. People really take care of their cars. I would highly recommend a used vehicle from Japan. They are almost always perfect, by our standards, and also very low mileage. I've considered getting a vehicle from Japan, but told myself to just pass. I'll probably end up living over there anyway. Love that white color. White vehicles reign in Japan. Other colors are starting to get more popular now, though.

Haha, I wanna put a cam on the mirror to see incoming traffic at traffic lights lol
yea I thought it was a scam, but thankfully I got a great deal.
He told me he wishes his wife would wait for 2 or 3 more weeks, but he has other cars to sell too!!

They are unbelievably clean, and majority are white :)

35's without regearing. I see you're starting this build off the right way.

I did a lot of research, A750 can indeed push the 35s with no need for the 4.88s.

I know someone who has 35s, 325 wide, and his is 4 speed without regearing and he says it is fine, he wheels it too and doesnt feel like he wants to regear.

EDIT: I just noticed you are from Vancouver, lets explore sometime after I get my car ready :D

Well depends on what you consider acceptable I suppose. Good luck.

I've run 35's on a few different toyotas in the past. None of them were any good without regearing. I ran 33's on my 100 for a couple months with the stock ratios and finally got rid of them. Loss of low end torque was unacceptable. I can only imagine what a slug 35's would turn it into.

You're tranny isn't going to make any noticeable difference. Manufacturers design the vehicles with specific gearing to tire size ratios for a reason. It's called drivability. If you really have to have 35's do yourself a favour and regear.

But like I said it depends on your standards and to be fair most peoples standards are a lot lower than mine so you'll probably like it just fine.

Have at it.

BTW I was reading you're mod list and I have a couple spare steel 18" tundra wheels if you decide to go that route for you're spare tire.
