I was not happy with the finish of my valve cover, so I blasted it, repainted, and used a very very high-quality clearcoat, after applying new decals from Cruiser Corps.

Another option would be to use an OEM fog light switch. I’m not familiar with the 78 but isn’t there supposed to be a courtesy light switch there?

Just click on the part to bring up the part number, copy part number into google, toyota parts deal usually has good info for what is NLA. Then buy from whoever you like.

Do you have this insured at a stated value while finishing out the build and driving it and having other shops work on it?

I know stated value plans exist, but didn't know if there was a limit for each vehicle.

Sure wish I could afford this one. It's beautiful.

The best my insurance could/would do was about 1/2 of the stated value I gave them. It’s still a considerable amount, but I am still weary of driving it.

I have American collectors insurance stated value, but some limitations on use.

I have hagerty stated / agreed value on my grey truck. Premiums increased ~30% for my 2019 renewal...was told it was due to claims paid during Florence and Michael. Still isn’t that expensive considering. Zero clue how using it would go and hope I never have to find out!

where did you source the decals? Is the producer able to provide decals that are year specific across all years?

Many different places, unfortunately. City Racer, Cruiserparts, SOR, Cruiser Corps, and member @SMG made many as well. I wish there could be a centralized location to find everything, but there’s not.
