Thank you for the info on the 2-piece header over the front doors. They were attached to the rain gutter when I took my cap off and I separated them by sliding them apart. It never occurred to me they simply snapped together. Can't see the forest because of all those darn trees in the way.........

I ended up replacing several of the rebuilt parts I previously installed, including:

Clutch slave cylinder
Clutch master cylinder
Brake master cylinder
Clutch fan

Figured that it was stupid to spend so much effort making the truck perfect, only to use the above rebuilt assemblies.

I also dropped of the truck at my painters shop, who is going to fix a few of my mistakes, including correcting a few runs, buffing the clear coat, etc.

Should look real good when it gets back, and will be very close to being ready to sell at that point!

Since I was a kid, I had always been in love with the original Toyota Landcruiser body style; I always said I would get one when I was older. Several years ago, my dream came true; I found one out in Los Angeles, and flew out there with my very supportive wife to pick it up. We drove it across the United States; we stayed a day at the Grand Canyon, and visited several other national parks between the West Coast and Jackson, MS. I spent the next few years driving it (and loving every minute of it)..........

Spent a bit of time coating all of the ends of these brackets with rubber coating. Looks great. Hung them from a baby gate to dry.

The truck is nearing completion. Paint correction should be done in a week or two. I’m stoked!

He ended up re-spraying many of the panels for me. Did a heck of a better job than me too. Ha.

Bought a vibratory tumbler from Harbor Freight, and have been tumbling all of the hardware I remove.
