V e h i c l e I n f o

I bought this vehicle in 2000 with about 58,000(?) miles on her. I used her for a daily driver for about 3 years and since has been driven some on a rare weekday or two, but mostly on weekends and the occasional adventure as I've encountered a longer commute and now need to be a one car owner. Buy her so I don't have to trade her in too!

Mechanical Work since purchased in 2000 by current owner

· Vehicle repainted with DuPont paint by a dealer using original factory color codes ('01)
· Wiper motor replaced ('00)
· Wiper control arm replaced ('00)
· New radiator hoses ('06)
· New water pump ('06)
· Belts replaced
· Bilstein HD shock absorbers installed
· Vehicle completely undercoated with permanent rust-proofing agent POR-15 ('00)
· Rubber floor mats installed over original factory carpet that still looks immaculate
· Rear rubber cargo mat installed over original factory carpet
· Hella 500W lights installed on front bumper
· Replaced Headlights
· Larger FJ-62 style mirrors installed
· Just installed new rear window hydraulic lift stays

Other things you should know

· Some of the original factory literature is included
· Aftermarket vehicle repair guide included
· A/C does NOT work – have been told it needs a new compressor
· Original windshield glass is bubbly
· Some body rust exists in a few typical spots but I am aware of ZERO FRAME RUST
· I have never driven vehicle on the beach
· Original headliner stretched in two places
· Crack free dashboard!
· Seat covers included

Oh yeah, she's got a "Barney Fife" air siren under the hood too! :grinpimp:

Nice Truck, I wish I was still down in Georgia. I'll be back that way in March, I'll keep my eye on it, I'm sure you'll sell it by then though. Good luck. Sweet Ride

Hey folks, thanks for the looks and the e-mails. I'll be posting up some more pictures soon - hopefully before the weekend.

As you can probably grasp, I'm willing to give somebody a good deal and I may have found my next vehicle. So please act fast or else I'll be trading her to dealer along with my LS.

Thanks again

Ok folks, here are some more pictures. I've now got her roadside w/ signs as well as an ad running in the paper. FYI

She's prolly going to end up going to the first reasonable offer I get from a good home.

Finally found all the service records dating back to when I bought her in 2000.

FYI

What are they going to give you as trade in value? let me know before you do that. Not to insult you but I could not swing much money for your truck. The rust is a turn off, but it is a nice stock truck.

OK, how about $1,000.00? This will be way more than you will get for a trade in value, for this vehicle.

Dealer has offered more than $1k. This truck's interior is immaculate folks. I agree the body rust is a turn off, but it is a 25yo girl who's been near the coast for many years. Key thing to remember is that she has ZERO frame rust and runs strong.

Like I said, I'm willing to give somebody a fair deal and am open to (reasonable) offers, but I can't disrespect my girl either. :hillbilly:

Is that just surface rust or has it eaten through?

Depending on how much your dealer has offered I can give you a few hundred more. I would like to get rid of one of my vehicles to have another project.

What is your timeframe like to sell? BTW, no disrespect meant with the 1k offer, just figured by what edmunds dot com says its worth (around 500 for trade in), the dealer wouldn't give much more.

Nothing has rusted through as far as I can tell. Time frame isn't long.

Will $3,250 get it??

It'll get you a PM

Ok, so are we at the point where I tell you that I'm having to sell her b/c my wife <read: mother of my children> kicked me out b/c she wants a divorce?

:ban:

Unfortunately I need to sell my Cruiser thanks to my new unplanned position. Must rid myself of both of my vehicles to replace my current '94 LS400 daily driver that is declining in health.

Selling is not a choice, but giving her away isn't an option either.

Help a brother out

Bump for a nice truck.

How did it get rusty so fast after a repaint?

Repaint was ~6 years ago and done by dealer w/ DuPont paints She looked S-W-E-E-T after that was done.

I live less than 10 miles from the ocean is all I can guess as to why the rust has popped up in typical spots. I also haven't had her parked under cover for a few years.

You wouldn't believe the interior upholestry/carpet though....:D It is in factory original condition. ;)

Oh yeah, and you gotta love the air siren too!

Price? mods? Pics?

Gotta deal pending....FYI

Saw this rig today, the interior was insanely clean, hard to believe really. Good luck with the sale, sounds like you got a reasonably fair offer, hope it all works out for you.

Appreciate the compliment, offer worked out....
