Hello 200 owners!

To date, I've struggled through oil changes and diff our changes without any special tools or parts. I've also shied away from some fairly straightforward maintenance items because I have (think) I don't have the right tools or methods.

I want to change my oil in a couple of weeks, and this morning I was researching the Jowett Performance Billet Cap and drain valve, which is currently sold out, and had a tough time finding all the parts I needed. Probably my deficiency.

I'm hoping this thread could become a place where people post or link their maintenance hacks and which parts and tools make the job easier.

A few maintenance routines that seem daunting or time consuming if not for this forum:
- Oil changes
- changing PCV valve
- adjusting the parking brake (at the handle and the rotor)
- changing the rear shocks
- front diff (changing the plug bolt, what's the part num?)
- replacement headlight bulbs
- fixing broken recirc door

If you have a recommendation, link, or link can you please post in this thread?

I propose something like this:

_____

Maintenance Routine: Oil Change

Recommended Parts:

- Jowett Performance Billet Cap and drain valve (as this is sold out, what might a replacement be (fumoto)?)
- fuel line
- venza aluminum part (what part num)

Recommended Tools:
- Tool 1 (link)

Recommended Process:
1. Step one
2. Step two
3. Step three

Useful link:
- link one

Anybody game? karma is on your side!

Thanks in advance!

Not quite the format that you're suggesting, but hopefully still useful:

For any job that requires lifting the vehicle, a quality floor jack is instrumental. It makes life 10x easier (and often safer) than any bottle jack.

This is the one I have: MotoMaster Eliminator Heavy-Duty Low Profile Long Reach Garage Jack, 3-Ton | Canadian Tire - https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/motomaster-eliminator-heavy-duty-low-profile-long-reach-garage-jack-3-ton-0090244p.html

Note that the lift range is up to 24", which is considerably higher than many competing products, and is a very welcome detail for tall, lifted vehicles.
