is there special rivets for mounting these plates . top two are firewall plates , one fj40,one bj40
the red one is the door jamb plate . also any recommendations for cleaning without removing the lettering . and also where does the firwall one mount .i took the bj40 one off and need to mount it to the fj firewall . but it does not fit in that spot on the fj so i was wondering where it mounts on an fj40 firewall any info would be great
P.S. i don't need to use the red one on this truck

The 1/8 inch short pop-rivets. (The aluminum ones are easier to drill back out if you're planning future re-painting, etc.)

The letters are engraved. Hit the whole shebang with paint remover and get all the paint off. Once its clean and dry, spray it with some gloss black and wait about an hour. Use a rag that had been lightly soaked in paint thinner (Just barely damp.) and wipe off the paint from the tag. You will be left with all those engraved letters filled with fresh paint. Set it in the sun to dry for the day and you're done.
