I currently have a blank PowerTray on order to mount a 6-circuit BlueSea fuse block and a 100-amp circuit breaker. The PT is on a 6-8 week delay, so what have other folks done to mount a fuse block over by the brake reservoir? I'm thinking of mounting to the vanity cover (backing with 1/4" ABS plastic sheet for strength), or fabricating my own plate from 1/8" aluminum sheet. Any suggestions are welcome. I don't have the power third row seats, so that option for power tapping in the back doesn't exist.

TIA,
Dave

You could try the slee arb air compressor bracket… I’m sure it would fit with that bluesea panel

If I'm reading your post correctly, you can mount it on top of your fuse box if it's water proof/resistant.
If you mount it by your brake, if you want to add an on-board air compressor, the mounts for them go right next to that.
As for a power ports in the rear, you can easily run a heavy gauge wire along either your interior or exterior to the rear.
If you go to my build thread at post # 40: Builds - R2M 2013 Lexus GX460 Overland Build - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/r2m-2013-lexus-gx460-overland-build.1104719/page-2
you'll see how I did mine. There are also other folks who've done similar setups if they'd like to chime in and show off their take on it!

Thanks for the thoughts. I've run 2 x 10awg wire already to the back and have it wired up. Last piece is the mount for the fuse block. It seems that looking for an compressor mount tray might be the way to go.

Built my own, 1/8 aluminum. This goes under my power tray is bolted using the same two fender fasteners and a bolt and stainless steel spacer from underneath.

I'm looking at doing a similar setup with that fuse block and breaker. My compressor is in that spot b/t the fuse box and brakes, so I'm looking at mounting to top of fuse box. Some people just mount directly on the lid (PowerTrays Compact Waterproof Circuit Breakers - https://www.powertrays.com/collections/power-accessories/products/high-amp-waterproof-circuit-breaker).

I was interested in this, but it looks like it may be too big for our fuse boxes (requires 5"x10 3/4"). IIRC, ours is ~10" long. Auxiliary Fuse Block Bracket for 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra - https://overlandequipped.com/collections/get-equipped/products/auxiliary-fuse-block-bracket-for-2007-2021-toyota-tundra. Something like that, but DIY, would meet my needs.

I'm also interested in mounting the breaker(s) on the battery tie down. I like this, but it's expensive compared to the rest of the setup I'm looking at ($100 w/ J-Hooks): Dual Circuit Breaker Battery Tie-Down - https://www.powertrays.com/collections/power-accessories/products/dual-circuit-breaker-battery-tie-down.

I'm now thinking about making a HDPE plate to mount on the fuse box. It's cheaper than aluminum and non-conductive. It'll be easy to swap out if I change my setup later. My LowPro from PowerTrays took a couple months to receive.

With the option you posted for the Tundra that mounts on top of the fuse box, be careful of the height. The Tundra bracket looks to be pretty high, and then mounting everything else, you may get interference with your hood.
I've also seen a mount that attaches to the fender next to the fuse box, goes over the top of the fuse box and then attaches to the lower inner part of the fender.
The only issue is it needs to be easily removable in case of needing to access the fuse box.

I forgot about the height. That did seem like it might be a problem. I estimated it to be 2-3" based on the scale of the breaker. The clearance needed for the bottom wired breaker (flush mount?) could be an issue. That swayed me toward a top wired breaker (surface mount?) like those in the PowerTrays pic.

I mounted a blue sea fuse block and 2 breakers with a single arb compressor. I have this same tray for sale as i have sold my GX, ready to ship. PM if interested.
