Alright, I have had a few questions on my current build and figured it would be easier to post it up as a build thread and reference it to anyone who has questions.

The setup is for ski, mountain bike, and general daily driving. Use is in California, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado with road trips typically 2x per month. Mountain passes are frequent and speeds need to stay with the flow of traffic (sometimes this is a hustle through switchbacks).

So my vision is to keep 90% highway use with capability to make it through large snow storms and down forestry access roads (think the best campsites in Crested Butte and Ouray)..

Original is a 2018 GX460 Base with heated and vented seats, full leather steering wheel, and blackwood trim.

Current setup:
Fuel 20" +1 offset wheels with 275/55-20 wildpeaks
Trimmed and molded wheel liners
3000k marking lights behind grill
lightbar in lower bumper trim
LED headlight
Lexus 2020 grill
MTS
Crawl Control
GROM VLINE w/wireless carplay
LED interior lights
Factory glass break sensor and alarm
Husky Floor liners
Paint protection on the front 1/3 xpel kit
Full stage 2 paint correction with FEYNLAB ceramic coat

Alright, guess there is no way to edit posts on this forum and also no way to access drafts from the mobile site (this should be fun)

Lighting

Built my own wire harness using relays and 14awg wire. Used a dual switch for the lights in an oem switch blank to the left of the steering wheel. Mounting used M6 hardware and a nut setter drilled into the lower bumper.

Good looking rig! Those sure don't look like 20" wheels.
Nice job on all the wiring.
Do you plan on doing any trails, more remote off roading, remote camping or just keep it to fire roads and camp grounds, no dispersed camping?
With the way you have it set up now, you've just about ticked off everything on your list that you need this to do.
What more are you thinking?

I have a dobinsons nitro kit on order with a 1.5” lift and Hawk LTS pads. Also looking at skid plates. Camping is dispersed with high center spots, step ups, and stream crossings. Also a lot of car camping if rolling solo. This is for ski and summer trips.

Few campsites for example.

If you travel solo this is the ultimate ski resort sleep platform for stealth camping.

With the passenger seat moved all the way forward/tilted the full length of my Truckvault is 6' 3" and 30" wide at the torso. Buy the Weathertech window cover kit. Great for blackout and heat retention. A 0 degree bag helps as well.

Nice setup. I have some work to do with my car camping configuration. In the summer I toss a tent down at good camp sites early morning to hold my spot. Winter that doesn’t work so much, so I will be using a sleeping pad and attempting to level out the back seats as best as possible with everything in stock form. Windows will be getting some reflectix cut to fit for insulation and privacy.

Current load out from a trip up to Durango last weekend ( gear bags and a cooler). Sunrise through monument valley broke up the 7hr drive. Ended up getting hotels because they were cheap (60 bucks). The snow at purgatory was feeling good for a few weeks without powder.
