Last time I fully cleaned the internals of my troopy frame I think I recall being able to stuff a garden hose right from the back to the front, with the bullbar and rear bumper removed. Left and right sides, to get all mud, silt and little gravel rocks which made it's way in there. Recall thinking good on ya mr.toyota, good design.
Now I am working on this unknown earlier troopy wreck, I can see there is no way I could do this where the steering box is attached (rhd) due to the fortifiction sleeves and internal bracket .
Can anyone remind me please if this was possible or this internal of the front frame is standard? Saves me having to pull off my other bullbar to have a look. Did I have to slide the hose into one of the frame rectangular side holes before the steer box to achieve this kind of water flow inside the frame?
