Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

2009 LX570 103k and full Lexus maintenance records. A hair under $30k.

I've seen my search notifications indicate a lot of price reductions lately - so I'm hoping I didn't buy the peak, but with my luck I did!

Just picked up a 2015 LX570, one owner Naples Florida with 19K miles for 57.8K. I really don't think it's a great price but inside and out immaculate. Couldn't be happier.

for 19k miles, I’d call it a fair price. It’s basically brand new, I think 2015 is a good year for the 570 (good technology and better looking grill/entry angle IMHO), and it wasn’t $100k. I think you should feel good about this purchase, congratulations! Enjoy every bit of it, you may just have it the rest of your life :)

I saw this one forale near me, went to take a look at it. When I noticed it was not on the lot. I asked if they had sold it? The owner told me his wife has been driving it as a daily. Told me if I come back in an hour, he will have it on the lot so I can look at it. Went back, his wife and kids were waiting inside while I looked at it. I told him thats a hard pass. The cabin stunk, and was trashed and littered with garbage from being used as a daily. Also the mileage on the ODO doesn't match whats being advertised since its being used as a daily. The rear hatch also has a hughe dent in it. When asked about coming down off the price due to these issues, he chuckled and reminded that this is a Toyota Land Cruiser.

2013 Toyota Land Cruiser AWD - $43,800 (Good Deal)
Mileage: 108,771 Location: Indianapolis, IN

Just looked at the ad, his wife has been driving it since July? And he won't come down off the price? Crazy.

I don't know how long she has been using as a DD. He just told me the car was at his house b/c his wife has been using it as a daily, and yeah he wouldn't budge.

This 2008 LC was just bid to $12,100 with 522k at a Dealer Auction. Not really sure what one would be able to do with such an example in terms of resale.

Airbag light on along with the CEL throwing codes P0420 and P0430 (assuming O2 sensors). Reports show it’s a running and driving LC, but history is 2 owners and 2 accidents.

Interesting, right?!

life goals!

I'm looking to buy a 2009 LC with 178,000 miles for $30K. Does that seem like a fair price?
If it’s clean with no rust, I think that’s pretty good. 3 years ago that truck would sell for $25k, but it’s a brave new world.

^ This

That's what pushed me to the LX. I couldn't bring myself to pay much more than what I did ($25k) for my old 2008 at 120k miles that I had in 2019.

At least I got in the LX at 103k miles for that $30k price and that helped me stomach it. It's not basically a land cruiser...it's better than a Land Cruiser :)

But with all of that being said, look at what else you can get for that same $30k price currently and act accordingly and don't look back, especially if you can afford it.

Agreed. I bought my one owner 2011 w/ 165k in Sept ‘20 with complete Alabama dealer history for 30k out the door. At the time, I knew it was pretty high. However, if I could get that deal today I’d pick up a second 200 in a heartbeat.

Mid-November we picked up a 2016 LC200 two-owner, dealer maintained here in Texas with 70K. After sitting on it @ $65K for a month the seller ended up asking $68.5K (dealership pricing).

On paper this is a 'meh, average' deal given the market & the truck is in fantastic shape - commuter use, garage kept, first owner was the dealership owner/principal, no insurance claims on the VIN, & seller's OCD level matches mine. Only interior flaws are steering wheel leather & door trim paint wear. Exterior is like-new.

Just saw this 2009 go up forsale local to me on Facebook Marketplace. I saved the listing b/c I'm curious to see if the seller gets what he is asking.

I have a pricing question and need to know if too high or in the ballpark.

2017 LX570, 3 row all options - about 48k miles.

Pristine condition inside and out. Brand new tires and brakes. Undercarriage looks almost brand new, owner states vehicle has only been used in summer and stored in winter. I can attest no rust.

This is a private party transaction and the lowest he will go is $72,500.

Is this too high? I am afraid once the LX600 comes out or the chip shortage issue is behind us, that the value of this rig will drop substantially.

Let me know what you think. I am on the fence and do not want buyers remorse, especially once the new LX comes out.

Looks like typical current dealer price.
Now it’s just matter of either you want it or need it…
