They will eventually. The shortage of new cars replenishing inventory is likely making them lean more of the supply side of the supply/demand curve.
Yet…they’ll bend soon enough

This 2017 with 45k just popped up at a dealer in the PNW for $74,000. Doesn't seem like it's softening much here yet.

No. Not the same one. This was a one owner trade in to the local toyota dealer. I jumped on it pretty quickly.
My bad the fb one has 110k for 46k.

Just picked up a 2008 for $30K. 2 owners, 186K miles, CA car with all service records. Pretty clean and well take care of. The market is just crazy, after looking for few months decided that is what clean 200’s are going for. Saw a few 2008’s in VA for $26K but both had accidents reported on carfax.
I stopped caring how much I overpaid in this market because I was also a seller in this market and took $10k more than I should have for the car I sold and that was to a dealership not private party sale.
With that being said, I would not buy without selling. All it takes is one more big marker correction and there will be plenty of cars to cherry pick when people can’t afford a 700-$1,000/month car payment

Just picked up a '09 w/95k miles 1 owner southern car w/full Lexus records for 32k. No negotiation from dealer and supposedly i was the first out of 40 inquires.

Ugh, so maybe a 2008 LC with so so records and 166k at $31500 isn't a good deal? Maybe prices are inching down?
There's a guy on Facebook w an 08 LC in green for 31k looks pretty nice and has expel film all over I believe.
