Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

FWIW - I have alerts setup on most of the major car sites and I've been seeing 08-15 used LX inventory sit longer on the lot, plus I've been getting many more "price reduced" emails. I feel like the market is softening.

I have seen them on lot for 12 weeks and not willing to come off price though

They will eventually. The shortage of new cars replenishing inventory is likely making them lean more of the supply side of the supply/demand curve.

Sewell just sold a 2015 40k miles for 60k. Sick

Is anyone able to add this VIN to Toyota Owners and give me a dump of what it says? JTMCY7AJ2H4057004 It won't let me add it. I get a blank error message on this one. Edit: Disregard. Was able to add it using an alternate account.

Dang, that looks great...did you purposely leave off the amount?
It said $48,500.00 in the original posting but now I can't see it. Strange.

Just picked up a 2008 for $30K. 2 owners, 186K miles, CA car with all service records. Pretty clean and well take care of. The market is just crazy, after looking for few months decided that is what clean 200’s are going for. Saw a few 2008’s in VA for $26K but both had accidents reported on carfax.

I stopped caring how much I overpaid in this market because I was also a seller in this market and took $10k more than I should have for the car I sold and that was to a dealership not private party sale.

With that being said, I would not buy without selling. All it takes is one more big marker correction and there will be plenty of cars to cherry pick when people can’t afford a 700-$1,000/month car payment
