Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

I'm happy to be back in something that resembles a Land Cruiser.

Stats: 2014 LX 570. 49k miles. $51,000 paid. Dallas TX one owner and dealer serviced.

congrats nice rig but GOD these prices have really been absurd on lx and cruisers lately. I was in market to buy 2016+ but at these prices i decided to wait it out till the prices come back to normal reasonable range. auto market has followed real estate trend which is totally absurd.

Yep, I sold my 2020 GMC sierra with 25K miles on it and got 10% more than I paid for it in July 2020. God bless the chip shortage :)

yeah that sure was nice vehicle . hows the rust underneath?
Rust wasn’t bad, just some surface corrosion. Plan on taking care of that soon.

2008 LX570, 1 owner, 64k miles, $33k OTD from the San Antonio Texas Lexus dealer.

Not a crazy deal but I'm happy, the truck was fully dealer serviced and super clean.

FYI: I ended up finding this truck using the Carfax website, but I had put a deposit down at a service that will bid on vehicles at Manheim auctions.

This was recommended to me by a fellow mudder who had used the service to get an LX570 at auction for a good price.

If anyone is looking for a truck I would be happy to put you in contact with them, just shoot me a PM.

Found a 2016 with 59k miles asking $60k
Black/Terra (the colors combo I love)
Private seller is the 2nd owner bought from a local dealer about 2 years ago.

I'm in the north GA/South TN market. Just trying to determine how good of a deal this is, or not. I'm going to see it in person hopefully in the next day or so. Thanks for the help!

Just for reference, before I bought mine last week, there was a black on black 2016 with 68k miles and they were asking $68k. In my mind, if you can get it a couple grand cheaper that wouldn’t be a bad deal.

That’s a good deal in this market

Can I get some input from you guys on this 2014 Lux? I'm looking at sealing the deal on it either today or within the next couple of days. Final price out the door $41.1k. 2 car owner, carfax is slim, shows minor damage to the rear bumper, which was repaired. Also shows no maintenance records. PO did a crappy "plastic dip" job, to the trim, which I will have to remove. I'm taking her to the local Lexus dealership for a "pre purchase inspection" this morning.

2014 Lexus LX 570 570 4WD - $45,990 (Fair Deal)
Mileage: 53,149 Location: Fishers, IN

Personally I would look for an independent shop to do a PPI. You could search on here if anyone has recommended one in your area.

That was my original game plan. The two indy's I called and even the Toyota dealership told me I would get a better inspection from the Lexus dealership.

I just bought a 2010 LX with 113,000 miles for $27,000.

A Lexus dealership had just done the seatbelt recall and multipoint inspection. However, I paid for an independent PPI and they found a few things. Most notably, the driver master window/lock switch didn't work. There were a couple of other things as well. That was my experience, but if you are educated on these and know how to direct them, that of course helps.

Pick this up a few days ago in Virginia Beach. 90k miles for 30k. Some very minor issues nothing I can take care myself or live with for the short term. Have bee. A GM guy for years but have been bitten by the LC/LX bug. So far pretty happy with the purchase. Over 500 miles already using it on vacation. Super pleased.

Nice score!
Unfortunately I had to pass on buying the LX570 I took in for inspection yesterday. About 30mins into the inspection the service manager and the mechanic who was doing the inspection, came into the lobby and got me. They took me back to the garage and the mechnic told me that when he lifted the vehicle into high mode to check the suspension, AHC fluid started pouring out all over the rear axle. They both told me to just take it back and don't waste my money buying it b/c I'm looking at around $9k to have the AHC system replaced. Surprisingly they didn't charge me for the 30mins. Took back to the dealership and told them about this, and asked if they would be able to come off the price. They just shrugged it off and pretty much told me "the price is the price."
