Let’s try this again, prior thread deleted, I assume they want to keep it clean, there was no explation given.

If you have sold a 100 series recently and want to share what you paid with details on truck this will be helpful for potential buyers currently looking.

This thread can be helpful for buyers looking to understand the market and different factors that come into play on pricing.

Please stay on topic!

I recently sold 2004 LX with 176k for 12,500. Truck was 9/10 on condition with full service records. Southern Vehicle no rust.

A friend was telling me I can probably get $12k for my ‘04, 212k miles, here in TX even though is has a steering rack leak and a couple of other non mechanical issues. It has the Nav delete and 2” tough dog lift. I’ve been looking at CL & FB marketplace and some people are asking crazy prices

I live in Seattle and if you put that truck on Craigs list for that price it would be gone in less than an hour lol

The Cheapest 100 series on CL in my area right now is a 99' with 312K miles for $14K

Wow, I was going to list mine for $11k hoping to get $10-10.5k

Crazy times. I have a 99 lx470 with 227k, new timing belt - thinking its time to move on as I just am not using it as intended and feel bad seeing it sitting there bored :). Need to decide how much I should take care of before putting it up. Could use tires, bushings, this and that. Generally are folks getting their money back in the sale after putting it in? Or are folks looking for these more inclined to want to baseline and take care of things themselves...?

I think it goes both ways.

A solid baseline rig with documentation will bring more money, because quite honestly people ar lazy.

I’m one of those people.

Upcoming sale. Super clean 2003 230k miles. Very well taken care of, tasteful mods. $21k

Looking to sell my 2004 LX470 that needs some work but have no idea how much to ask for it. Ideally I'd like to sell to someone on here.

Roughly 230,000 miles or so. Runs and drives well, relatively clean etc. I'm in Massachusetts but the vehicle spent most of its life in Alabama so no major rust issues.

It has developed an exhaust leak which has triggered all of the check engine lights. The engine is also leaking oil. A couple of other smaller issues including a defective emergency brake and fog lights.

Thanks in advance!

Just getting into the LC game - is this a reasonable price?

05 LC Limited Luxury w/ 300k miles asking $16k. Looks like TB service is about to be due.

This same one was posted for $18k on facebook marketplace fyi.

It looks fairly rust free from suspension that's visible but there's serious rust visible behind passenger side rear door in the pics.

Interior is super clean for that many miles which makes me think it is mostly highway miles.

In regard to your question, I haven't been keeping up with prices lately to comment what's reasonable now days.

Definitely noticed. Gonna feel the pain at the pump this weekend - got a two night camping trip in Little River Canyon and it's a 2 hour ~ drive from me.

Gas prices would seem to be a hardship, but only if one drives many miles. Otherwise it is absorbable, tho not very tasty.

Used vehicles are bringing a premium (to say the least). So if one sells and buys another, it is a sideways move, yes?

I'm thinking about selling mine - 2006 Black LC with 222K miles, TJM T17 front bumper, Metaltech sliders, ASFIR front skid plate, new Land Cruiser Heaven leather first and second rows, Doug Thorley headers, Borla catback, aftermarket wheels, 275/70r18 BFG's (nearer to end of life than beginning), bluetooth, weathertech mats, third row seats included, cosmetically imperfect but looks good from 10 feet, replaced speakers 4 years ago, lots of money spent on timing belt work at 195K, replacing steering rack 218K, oil seals/gaskets 220K, and ot. Biggest cosmetic issues is crinkled right front fender due to someone sideswiping me on highway......and fleeing. Rust on the original remaining skid plates, this was one owner when I bought it and it was driven in Maryland, which does salt but not often.

What is this worth?

I'll be putting my 2000 up for sale pretty soon here if anyone is looking for something sold by an enthusiast and not an auction flipper. Rust free California Desert truck with 250k miles. Everything has been replaced within the last 10k miles (timing belt, water pump, steering rack, etc...)
