I've searched, I swear. Can someone give me recommendations on retrofitting Morimotos on 2006/2007? I've seen lots of threads, but most seem to be for LX or pre-2006. I'm totally comfortable with the process, just don't know what I can fit in there. TIA

All LX470 headlights are the same, aside lenses changing from glass to plastic.

Doh! Thanks, zipdoa. I should have clarified: 2006 or 2007 Landcruiser.

morimotos is a very broad term, you should clarify.
Retrofitting Bi-xenons to factory or aftermarket headlamp housings.

Yes, the d2s and minis fit fine. There are plenty of nuances to be gained in reading of past threads. Going at it blind might not work out as planned.

I've done this retrofit using the one-piece 1999-2005 plastic housings which are in the same style as the 2006-07. It is pretty straightforward, you can see them in my post history. The DEPO housings I used may be slightly different than the OEM Toyota housings. The sketchiest part is widening the bulb opening to fit the Mini D2S collar, as that is the point of no return.

My advice would be to find a generic headlight and practice the opening/cleaning/widening procedure to decrease the risk of damaging the OEM housings.

I run MLED 2.0's in mine, with their high beam projector on the inner sections like factory.

Thanks! I just received a set of Depo housings. I considered cleaning up and using the OEMs, but decided to just replace.

Agree with @2000UZJ - that inner high beam pocket could be put to better use.
I went with 3” Auxbeam cubes in mine that have a DRL/Amber backlight function, ended up matching the amber to my side marker lights and Diode Dynamics ditch backlight.
