Putting this 1979 back together and the front axle initially had Warn lockouts on it. I found some Asco units that fit but after more research, looks like I have the long body. Can I just run these with the washer and bolt to keep the axle from wandering- similar to the Warn setup or should I try to find the short body lockout to see if I can utilize the snap ring on the axle? Sounds like the long body Asco/Aisin are a sought after units. I'd just like to get the correct setup for this rig.

Here is what I see with the long body on. Looks exactly like the Warn that requires the washer and bolt. Thanks.

Eh, sick of overthinking everything. Running them with the washer from the Warns. Have a long way to go with plenty of other things to worry about before this thing will ever see the road. Moving on.
