Okay, so search reveals one thread of someone actually having installed a mojave, but there are no pictures. Does anyone have the mojave installer with plenum and defroster setup? Also, It sounds like it doesn't come with any kind of water flow valve. Does it sit there hot in the summer? I know there's no air blowing across it, but isn't the heat transfer unit in the heater always 200 degrees in the summer?

i had one installed as a rear heater. it gave good heat and was easy to install. they are a little louder than i liked so i’m looking for new options for my next one. the water flow valve will be the same one as the stock heater used. there are just three levels of fan.

I have one installed on my 65 FJ40. I can take better pics in a week if you want (not near the 40 right now). I hooked it up to the defrost as my 40 didn't originally come with a factory heater. I don't have a coolant valve on it, I never noticed an issue with that but I should look into installing one. I put it under the glove box as it seemed like the easiest location with the least impact on drilling holes in the cruiser for a mount.

Great, thanks. That's enough of a picture for me.

Do you have others to suggest? The only other serious option I've seen is the Jegs.

No I was just curious. At the time I put it in (about 10 years ago) it seemed like a good heater but haven't looked at what is out there in a long time.
